Next up, your bike with a child.

I tried, but the parents looked at me funny and threatened to call the cops.

Next up...your bike on a METAL GRATE bridge...the kind you can see down through. You guys complaining about the heat...I'm still down here riding on 115* days.

But it's DRY heat.

I know... I'm so sick of hearing people say that. 115 is miserable either way.

Man, I cross a draw bridge twice a day nearly every day but if I stop on that thing I'll be killed be idiots that can't drive. It's one lane each way and goes to a college campus.

I have one in my town as well, but its also only a two lane draw bridge, so stopping on it is frowned upon a little. :(

Yeah, there is only one that I can think of and I'm not stopping on it.

How about "with a metal bridge" instead of on it?

I know it's not the metal bridge you were imagining, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let this thread Die cause ya'll are slacking.

I just finished reassembling my bike today and this picture was my test ride.

Next Item: Your bike with a City Limit sign. (Bonus points if it has the population on it.)

I don't think there is a "City Limits" sign anywhere in this area. At least I cannot think of one. An internet search turned up a bunch for sale.

I could get a state line sign within 3 minutes of home, but that has already been done.

Left my phone at home today so no pictures...and I ended up riding 30 miles in the rain on the way home at 65mph... Rain feels like bee stings at that speed....ouch.

Wait til you find the random hailstone at 75 while you're trying to outrun the rain...

All I'm hearing are excuses to not ride.
I had to drive my car (2004 Chrysler Crossfire) for three weeks while my bike was in pieces. Now that it's back together, the car will go in the back of the garage and be lucky to see 3 days of use a month.

Wait till you find a crow that decides it wants to fly across the road as your going by at 80. Almost knocked me off the bike. Had to stop and get off for a minute cause it knocked the wind out of me. My whole chest was purple the next day from the bruise.

Ouch, I had a string of suicidal birds just miss me last week.

Another member here that I rode with often took a bat (the winged kind) to the head at 30.

I took one to the collarbone once at about 80, saw it come into the headlight but it was too late to do anything about it.
found some scratches down the left side of my helmet from claws/teeth as he got mangled by my shoulder pad.

I'm just glad he didn't hit 6in to my right and end up coming up in my helmet...

Imagine trying to stop from 80 and get your helmet off with a pissed off, wounded bat clawing at your eyes and chewing on your nose.

Went out for an hour ride to find this sign. Only to realize that there was one less than half mile from the house.

Next Item: Your bike next to a moped.

If you hit the bat doing 80 it was deader than Julius Caesar at the moment of impact.

Would you take the time to determine if it was alive or not if it was in your helmet?
