I'm considering studying for the CFA exams  My situation is such that come test time I might not be able to take it due to my full time job.  Can someone confirm that the material is such that the "universe" that questions can be drawn from is the same from year to year, and it's just the test that changes.  In other words, that the acquired knowledge in studying for it in say 2016 would still carry over to 2017.
