If you are looking for glasses www.julbousa.com will give you 50% off by filling out an order form and emailing it to this guy. From what he implied to me it was for while you are deployed (FPO / APO addresses) They were really cool and I love the glasses I bought.

Another GREAT deal is Oakley sells a limited selection of their line at about 1/2 price to military and LE etc.  You have to scan your ID and email it to them to get an account, but it is a great deal.

Adidas Stores give 5 or 10 %, can't remember which now.

And last time I asked about a year ago, Starbucks was giving a medium regular coffee for free to Military/LEO. Just had to be straight up coffee, nothing fru-fru. When we asked about it they said it was company policy, not just their store.

You get GSA pricing when you order from Diamondback Tactical. Either you buy it online and have it shipped to a base or APO or you have to call them.

I just bought some x4 mag puches that retail for $40. I paid $25.

$340 a night room for $170 with only asking for .mil discount.  Never needed to even show the ID/CAC

Stockyards Hotel in Ft Worth, Texas

Gives a .gov rate but not on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights.  Great steaks and awsome bars all around the hotel.

Have gotten a 10% at the counter of Cabella's twice, and even a 10% at the Gun Counter on a $990 Sig

I actually got a 10% discount for being an American Military Soldier in an InterSport ski shop in Austria last week.  I was shocked, here I am an American Soldier who is stationed in Germany and down in Austria skiing and getting a discount for my service in an Austrian store on top of a mountain in the Alps.

Not sure if all InterSport stores give the discount, but its worth looking into if you are in the Alps.

- Verizon has a discount for Law Enforcement and Military (20%, I think)
- Lenscrafters has a discount for Law Enforcement and Military (also 20%, if I remember correctly)
- Oakley and Asics both do 50% off for Law Enforcement, if you order direct

those are the only ones I know of, since I don't ask for discounts.  those are just the ones who asked me where I work and then gave me the discount automatically.

they aren't supposed to give you anything.  most restaurants that have a LE/Military discount only give it to you when you're in uniform.  if you're off duty and asking for discounts, you're the reason most departments now have written policies against accepting discounts while uniformed or not.  it makes a really bad impression on the public when some guy in shorts and a t-shirt is standing in line at Arby's flashing ID and arguing with the cashier about the discount he thinks he is supposed to get.

Lowes and Home Depot in the Ft Campbell area only do military discounts Memorial/Veterans Day weekends.  When I was at Ft Bliss, Lowes always did military discounts.

Seems that many Ft Campbell area places used to do military discounts, but no longer ... Military community, and I suppose many local vendors don't really feel that they need to do it.  Mostly active & retired military consumers, and where else are they going to go?

Also, noticed now that I'm retired, no longer qualify for military discount.  Too bad.

Never had Chipotle give me a discount... even when in uniform... Lowes and HD around here (phoenix, az) only seem to give one on memorial and veterans day. Asked when it wasn't those days and got denied w/ CAC. Oh, and to the poster who said the reason most places don't give out the discount anymore is because we ask for it when not in uniform... that's just silly... I mean, in uniform or not I still am on-duty 24/7/365 holiday or not. LE, FD, EMT's and mil all should get discount 24/7, because our job is volunteer 24/7 so that other's don't have to.... just my 2cents...
