Obama said if Karzai didn't sign by the end of 2013 that we would be 100% out by the end of 2014, aka the Zero Option. Let's see if he follows through with it

For some reason I enjoyed Iraq compared to Afghanistan. AFG is one of the most fucked up countries in the world. All them damn dancing boys giving ANA field grade officers blow jobs and who knows what else...just fucking weird. RC South has a ton of gay Afghans. They won't admit it because Islam forbids it obviously...but it is rampant over there. Thank God I spent most of my time in RC East.
Although I did witness an Iraqi fuck a donkey for about 10 mins on the FLIR camera....what the hell is wrong with people? Yep I know I'm off topic....no idea why we are still over there with our hands tied behind our backs in regards to ROE. |

because, as with almost every thing with our shit poor graduate student, community organizing, wannabe poser president once he's made a speech, made a promise he considers the subject closed. He doesn't think about it again, he has the attention span of a gnat, too bad he doesn't share the gnats life expectancy. With the exception of getting the monstrosity of Zerocare passed and signed he has had trouble staying focused.Of course maybe that is a good thing.

On my first AFG trip in '04-'05, the infantry platoon I was attached to was on a two-week patrol in Atghar province. We were staged out of a village with our Platoon CP located in the Police Station. One afternoon our local national Terp (who was pretty legit) went to see the police chief for some reason. About 5 minutes later he came back acting grossed out and told me (the token AF JTAC), the 13F and our mortar guys that the police chief was getting a BJ from his boy toy and he had just walked in on it.
Being good fighting men, we did the only thing that we COULD do given the circumstances. We found the Platoon Leader and then told him that the police chief wanted to see him immediately. He came back traumatized a few minutes later cursing us for setting him up. |
