Your team drivers will be the same every race, unless you drop or trade them. The draft will be a snake style, with the last pick of the first round getting the 1st pick of the second round. Each team gets 12 hours to make a draft pick, or they will automatically pick the highest rank driver. Draft order is picked by random. Prizes Each member donates $10, all of the entry donations will go towards prizes. The overall winner will get the championship trophy. The winner of the F1 and Indy points championships will each receive an AR15.com team membership. Whoever has the highest overall weekly points will win a Pmag. Whoever has the most high point races will win a Pmag. Weekly Pick Each team will pick one driver per race as their weekly pick. The weekly pick can be any driver, including your own, they are separate from your team drivers. Each weekly driver can only be picked once (you will have a different weekly pick every race). Weekly picks must be made before qualifying of that race. If you fail to make a weekly pick on time, or you pick a driver you have picked before, you will receive 0 points for your weekly pick. Trades, Adds, Drops and Injuries After the draft, any team may add or drop their drivers for any available driver throughout the season. Teams may also trade drivers, until the trade deadline. The trade deadline is the beginning of qualifying for the Indy Pocono race. All trades, adds and drops should be sent to me by both teams, before qualifying that week. Any trades, adds or drops sent after qualifying begins will take effect after that race weekend. All dropped drivers will have a 48 hour waiver period. The lower ranked team by total points, will have priority if placing a claim on a waiver driver. If a driver will miss a race for medical reasons, a team is permitted to retain that driver and add any available driver, until the original driver is able to race again. The team must drop their extra driver when their original driver returns. Points For F1 races, points will be distributed with first place receiving 20 points, and every other position receiving one less, with twentieth place will receiving 1 point. Because Indy car has a shorter season and more drivers, they will receive an extra 5 points per position, with first place receiving 25 points, and twentieth receiving 6. No points will be awarded to any driver who completes less than 70% of the race distance. 1 bonus point will be awarded to the driver on pole position. When is the draft?? I will probably do it this year. View Quote The Draft will probably start around March 3rd. Like previous years, everyone will have 12 hours to make a pick so no one has to plan around this. Some people like to PM a list of their preferred draft picks so they just draft whoever is the highest available on their list and there is no wait. |

2 spots left and no one wants in?
Damn we need fresh meat in here! |

I'd like to be in on the F1 side, but I don't know the first thing about IndyCar.

I'd like to be in on the F1 side, but I don't know the first thing about IndyCar. View Quote A few people are like that and focus on the f1 side. You'd still need to draft 2 Indy drivers and make a pick for Indy races but it's not to difficult. Most of the drivers are ranked by the points they scored last year with some drivers moving up or down based on new teams. Let me know if you want the last spot. |

Lets get this party started!! View Quote Almost time! If anyone wants to join last minute they have until noon! I'll randomize the order and post the list here around 1PM. After that whoever is 1st will have up to 12 hours to draft. A slight change, if you max out your 12 hours and autodraft, you will also autodraft on the proceeding rounds when it becomes your turn, unless you reply to me or this thread before that. That way if someone is busy we don't wait 12 hours for them every round. Also, like previous years, if you want to make a list of your preferred picks and IM it to me, you can autodraft whoever is first on your list instead of the default list in the OP. |

We need to speed things up a little bit. Previous years' drafts finished the first weekend and we still have three rounds to go.
Please try to check in if you know your pick is coming up. |

As a McLaren fan I pray that pays off for you! If they are actually sandbagging it'll put to shame what Ford did before Le Mans last year. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
As a McLaren fan I pray that pays off for you! If they are actually sandbagging it'll put to shame what Ford did before Le Mans last year. I think they'll start slow but will develop faster than the other mid-level teams and probably end up racing with Williams or Force India for 4th. Plus Alonso always out drives his car. BTW, there's always one... Did you start a little early for tomorrow? Quoted:

Don't forget to make a post in the season thread with the schedule. This is where post your weekly picks for every race by editing your post.
