The reason for this is so everyone can post their weekly picks on page one of the new thread and it will be easier to keep track of your picks. Draft Each entrant will draft two F1 drivers, and two Indy drivers that will be your team. Your team drivers will be the same every race, unless you drop or trade them. The draft will be a snake style, with the last pick of the first round getting the 1st pick of the second round. Each team gets 12 hours to make a draft pick, or they will automatically pick the highest rank driver. Draft order is picked by random. Weekly Pick Each team will pick one driver per race as their weekly pick. The weekly pick can be any driver, including your own, they are separate from your team drivers. Each weekly driver can only be picked once (you will have a different weekly pick every race). Weekly picks must be made before qualifying of that race. If you fail to make a weekly pick on time, or you pick a driver you have picked before, you will receive 0 points for your weekly pick. Trades, Adds, Drops and Injuries After the draft, any team may add or drop their drivers for any available driver throughout the season. Teams may also trade drivers, until the trade deadline. The trade deadline is the beginning of qualifying for the Indy Pocono race. All trades, adds and drops should be sent to me by both teams, before qualifying that week. Any trades, adds or drops sent after qualifying begins will take effect after that race weekend. All dropped drivers will have a 48 hour waiver period. The lower ranked team by total points, will have priority if placing a claim on a waiver driver. If a driver will miss a race for medical reasons, a team is permitted to retain that driver and add any available driver, until the original driver is able to race again. The team must drop their extra driver when their original driver returns. Points For F1 races, points will be distributed with first place receiving 20 points, and every other position receiving one less, with twentieth place will receiving 1 point. Because Indy car has a shorter season and more drivers, they will receive an extra 5 points per position, with first place receiving 25 points, and twentieth receiving 6. No points will be awarded to any driver who completes less than 70% of the race distance. 1 bonus point will be awarded to the driver on pole position. I tried last year but Indy doesn't interest me and I don't follow it so it became a chore to play. Good luck with the game gents!

Of course I'm in, hard to believe we're already so close to the start of the season.

When's the draft start? This is gonna suck big time, Indys first race and f1 are both on weekends I have shit going on

Drivers and schedule updated before the draft. I am trying to get an eighth person but it's better to have seven people who are active than eight if one isn't active.
All of the entry donations will go towards prizes. The overall winner will get the championship trophy. The winner of the F1 and Indy points championships will each receive an AR15.com team membership. Whoever has the highest overall weekly points will win a Pmag. Whoever has the most high point races will win a Pmag. |
|
We have eight members and I received everyone's entry. If you know anyone interested in joining let them know now. If no new members are interested I'll randomize the draft order and post it tomorrow, then whoever is first can start the draft when they're ready.
Let me know if they're any questions. Thanks. |

Its easier too for sure! The races are convenient timing for us US viewers, very few are in the afternoon. You can watch the race in the morning with breakfast, and still have the rest of the day. Indy is oddly timed, I end up recording most of them.

I'll take for the last pick hinchcliffe.
I know he's coming back from a injury, but I figured someone would have picked him by now... |

I struggled with it and almost picked him. Same with Newgarden, fellow Tennesseean came on strong towards the end. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Are we gonna have another thread for our picks and such?
If I might add a suggestion, can we get a list of driver like we had to draft from posted up, that way we can print it and cross off a driver as we pick them? Makes it so much easier |
