I just watched the Game Bayern vs Augsburg and I have to say the PK should not have been given.

It was a great game and Augsburg for sure would have deserved this one point. Bayern was lucky with that call.

Manchester City 1 Juventus 2.  Maybe a come from behind win will kickstart their season after a terrible start in Serie A.  City not invincible after all.

I saw that. What a mess that was. I wonder if something will happen or if they will let this go.

Videos zeigen griechische Polizisten, die ca. zwei Stunden vorm Anpfiff mit Schlagstöcken auf Fans des Meisters einprügeln. Dabei wird ein Anhänger verletzt.

from a German Newspaper

they say the Bayern fans provoked the Police and that is why they got a beating. Hmmm

here are some videos of it

There were some rumors Liverpool were going to try to snag Klopp.  Winds seem to all be in Bayerns direction though.

that was just unbelievable. In only 9 minutes he scored that many Goals.

What a Game that must have been. I wish I would have been in the Stadium to see this.

Just so happy. They are back on top

just watched another recap and he is the 1st guy since 1991 to score 5 Goals in one Game and fastest ever - sau Geil

His 3rd Goal was a Goal Post assist and the the last one with the Seitenfallzieher (sorry do not know the English term for this)

So Happy

Actually medial collateral which - while bad - isn't a season ender like an ACL would have been.  I saw happen it yesterday (BEIN Sports) and when he didn't pop right back up like he ALWAYS does, I knew it was serious.  Just hope his trying to play for a few more minutes didn't make it worse.

20/20 hindsight, but with Barca's injury list, I bet they'd like Pedro back.

alter Schwede Bayern is on a roll here. Once again they scored big time and Lewandowski was awesome.

What a game that was. 5:0

1:0 Douglas Costa (13., Vorlage Thiago)
2:0 Robert Lewandowski (21., Vorlage Thiago)
3:0 Mario Götze (25., Vorlage Coman)
4:0 Robert Lewandowski (28., Vorlage Douglas Costa)
5:0 Robert Lewandowski (55., Vorlage Thiago)

-----------

I would have hopped that Leverkusen would win this Game but it was not meant to be. Shame

2:1 for Barca

boy Bayern is on a roll they blew Dortmund out of the Arena

5:1

the interview after the Game was awesome Tuchel is a really cool guy I like him even more after this interview.

here are the Goal scorers

- Bayern - T. Müller (26.)
- Bayern - T. Müller (35.)

- Dortumund - P. Aubameyang (36.)

- Bayern - R. Lewandowski (46.)
- Bayern - R. Lewandowski (58.)
- Bayern - M. Götze (66.)

couple of records where made today

1st Aubameyang beat  Klaus Allofs records - by scoring in 10 Games in a row.

2nd Mueller - in his last 42 Games with Bayern when he scored Bayern won

3rd Lewandowski scored 9 Goals in three Games

Bayern now has 7 Points ahead of Dortmund

I am also happy to see Hertha is doing so well

Well, the international break has begun.  I'm watching Chile-Brasil and hoping no one gets hurt so they can continue to play for their club teams after the break - the teams who have so much invested in them and actually pay their salaries.

ETA:  David Luiz - knee injury, carted off in first half;  Kun Aguero - hamstring

ETA#2:  David Silva, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Gotze, Álvaro Morata, and how many more?

When will the clubs who have spent in many cases 10's of millions of pounds, euros, dollars, on a player put their foot down and bar players from international play during their seasons?

National coaches don't care what condition they send players back in, don't have to pay for their surgeries or rehab, won't substitute them at the first hint of a sprain or strain to preserve them for the long haul.

ETA#3:  Tim Krul - season ending ACL injury

Link Posted: 10/15/2015 1:01:04 PM EDT
[#32]
Legitimate question -

What could the clubs and/or the spectators do about ending international break during club seasons? Petition FIFA? Is it even feasible? Boycott the break? Postpone the International matches?

This is my first year of closely following competitions other than the BPL... (Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, CL, Euros, Copa America, etc.) - and I'm shocked by the injury list: Krul, Aguero, Silva, Morata, Gotze, Sweini... just to name a few!

I'd heard the griping about Int'l break before, but I had thought the majority was in jest...

...how wrong I was

Is it corruption?

what a Game that was

awesome

5:1 for Bayern

the the Goal from Muller was a hell of a shot.

I enjoyed this very much

very Happy that they won it in that fashion no less.

two more matches to play

24 November 2015 - Olympiacos

and

9 December 2015 - Dinamo Zagreb

these will be easy Games and my prediction is they will win these and end up at the top of the standings

If, if, if Ozil had only cleanly chested the ball for the equalizer it might have been a closer match.

Nonetheless, at this point Arsenal would be best off finishing last in the group or a poor third place finish to avoid the hellhole of Europa League play.  That way they can focus on winning the Premiership and defending the FA Cup without the distraction of overseas travel and extra midweek fixtures.
