If you've never participated in an auction draft, please take the time to do at least one mock auction draft on Yahoo!. Why Yahoo!? Because that's where the league is and you need to be familiar with the software and how it works. Plus, Yahoo! ADP and auction values will influence the bidding heavily. If you want to do some mock auction drafts on ESPN, CBS, wherever to get an idea of what values are like on other sites, great. But please do at least one mock on Yahoo! just so you're not bitching on draft night (or the entire season) because you couldn't figure out how to bid on your favorite RB or whatever. I just did one on yahoo, holy shit that takes forever. I won't be able to make the 9:30pm draft time so I'm assuming auto pick will be an option. I work nights and I have a long commute so late at night is hard to do anything. I don't expect special treatment, but if it were earlier I could make it. |

Bruins and Daddy Fungus: when you accepted the invite did you get a team/roster from last year?
if not i will assign you one manually from last year so you can choose keepers. |

Remember you do not need to keep any players but you do have the option of keeping up to 2. Look at what the draft price was (appears after the players name) and add 5.00 to that cost in order to keep them for this year. If the cost is a hyphen or (-) that means they were a free agent and the cost to keep them is 5.00 now. Your overall budget is 200.00, so choose wisely as that needs to fill your whole team. Don't forget you need to choose your keepers!!
The deadline for choosing keepers is Tuesday, September 1 (I changed the date to give owners more time in case a last minute injury pops up) To choose keepers you need to click on "My Team" from the league home page. Then find the "Keepers" section located along the two top lines for managing your team. It can be located in the second line. Choose your keepers (up to 2 and remember to add 5.00 to last years draft price) and then "Set Keepers on the bottom of that page. I'll do the rest. DaddyFungus, you will need to IM or post your keepers here by the due date so I can set them manually. That is all

No, all you have to do is choose the keepers and mentally remember what the cost was last year and then add 5.00 to that. I'll do it manually for everyone after the keeper deadline date, when I know who is keeping which players. I have two, a cheap Akorn and a Vision,
the Akorn heats up fast, but you lose allot of heat opening and closing. The Vision takes longer to heat up and cool off, but its way more forgiving on opening and closing, and is more consistant holding temps. i use the vision to grill and the Akorn to smoke |

You MUST select the players you intend to keep from the league page. The commish will adjust their values before the auction and your auction budget will be $200 less the value of your kept players (last year's auction value + $5).
