Justin Wilson competed in Formula One in the 2003 season with Minardi and Jaguar and was the winner of the 2001 International Formula 3000 championship. He was also a overall winner of the 2012 24 Hours of Daytona. He scored four wins in Champ car and had three Indycar wins. Justin Wilson died following an accident in Pocono. Rest in peace.

Draft
Each entrant will draft two F1 drivers, and two Indy drivers that will be your team. Your team drivers will be the same every race, unless you drop or trade them. The draft will be a snake style, with the last pick of the first round getting the 1st pick of the second round. Each team gets 12 hours to make a draft pick, or they will automatically pick the highest rank driver.  

Weekly Pick
Each team will pick one driver per race as their weekly pick. The weekly pick can be any driver, including your own, they are separate from your team drivers. Each weekly driver can only be picked once (you will have a different weekly pick every race). Weekly picks must be made before qualifying of that race. If you fail to make a weekly pick on time, or you pick a driver you have picked before, you will receive 0 points for your weekly pick.

Trades, Adds, Drops and Injuries
After the draft, any team may add or drop their drivers for any available driver throughout the season. Teams may also trade drivers, until the trade deadline. The trade deadline is the beginning of qualifying for the Indy Pocono race. All trades, adds and drops should be sent to me by both teams, before qualifying that week. Any trades, adds or drops sent after qualifying begins will take effect after that race weekend. All dropped drivers will have a 48 hour waiver period. The lower ranked team by total points, will have priority if placing a claim on a waiver driver. If a driver will miss a race for medical reasons, a team is permitted to retain that driver and add any available driver, until the original driver is able to race again. The team must drop their extra driver when their original driver returns.

Points
For F1 races, points will be distributed with first place receiving 20 points, and every other position receiving one less, with twentieth place will receiving 1 point. Because Indy car has a shorter season and more drivers, they will receive an extra 5 points per position, with first place receiving 25 points, and twentieth receiving 6. No points will be awarded to any driver who completes less than 70% of the race distance. 1 bonus point will be awarded to the driver on pole position.

Five teams already which is good. Indy car only has 16 races on the schedule this year, and with more drivers it's going to be unfair. Thinking of giving Indy car races 5 extra points for each position, 25 for first, 6 for twentieth.

Point system updated to make things more even for the Indy series. Updated the drivers for 2015, alternating between F1 & Indy based on last years standings.

Also Luca Filippi and Ed Carpenter will be picked as one driver, since they share the #20 car depending on the track

Afternoon on the 26th I'll randomize a draft order and each member will have 12 hours to make their draft pick, starting on Feb 28th. I can PM or email members when it's their turn, if no pick is made within 12 hours you'll automatically select the top driver available. If you don't know whether you'll have internet access when your pick is coming up, you can PM me your top choices and will automatically pick them instead, but hopefully everyone will have time to make their picks and we'll finish in a few days.

I wonder who in the game would NOT take Hamilton or Rosberg if they had first pick. I'm not sure if would.

Since the draft is winding down, there are two things I'd like some opinions on. I haven't heard from Mossyrocks since he signed up a month ago. If he doesn't show up before the end of the draft, I'd like to find an active member to take over that team.

Secondly, what is everyone's opinion of a 1 point bonus for pole position?

I'm not for it. While pole position is a great metric for the starting grid, it's not part of the race. Besides, if it's anything like last year, none of those points will go to me.
