Tom got his check today and he's on the other side of the fucking country. All I can assume is that with both holidays falling mid week and then the significant storm we had (8+ inches of snow) Thursday night, it must have caused a delay in snail mail. Trust me gents, they were mailed. I've been the money man in both leagues since inception, the Classic league is at least 7 or 8 years now? and there has never been an issue with the winners getting their prizes.
Again, Paypal winners had their money instantly. Maybe next year I will issue WINNERS CHOICE of either a Paypal or Amazon gift card, which is instant, since once I purchase it, they send me the gift card in an email and I can then forward it to the receipients. If you can;t find something on AMazon to purchase then your an idiot. Hell you can even buy your groceries there. |

Bump for updates...
Pistol is leaving this league so we will have an opening. In case you forgot, Pistol also took over commish duties last year. So now we need another owner plus someone to step up and take over commish. Unless one of the other original owners would like to take over I am going to nominate myself to take reigns of both leagues. It is easier and ensures we have some stability going forward. Thoughts...concerns...gripes??? I'll start a new thread for the new season in a few days once Pistol hands over commish power in the league. |
