We need to decide on any rule changes.

Personally, I'm fine with the way the league is currently constituted, but could vote in favor of a few limited changes like adding a WR/TE FLEX position and upping the buy-in fee to $100 (I'm not saying we SHOULD increase the fee, I'm saying I could conceivably vote in favor of an increase).

Payout structure could be something like this:

Total fee revenue: $1,200

League Champion: $750
Runner-up: $200
3rd place: $100
Most points at end of regular season: $100
Highest single week point total: $50

I would be ok with this...  But it wouldn't bother me either if it stayed the same.

I don't want to up the buy in.  In terms of the flex position, would that be instead of the WR/RB/TE flex or in addition to it?

All winnings have been paid.

Paypals are waiting for you in your account.

Checks are in the mail (yes they really are  ) for the rest of you.

Congrats to all on a competitive season.

I would prefer we simply added a 3rd WR slot and added a bench slot or two.

In either case, if we expand the rosters we need to expand the bench.

Am I the only one who likes the second QB position?

There aren't enough quality QBs in the league as it is.  Needing two or three of them on your roster could make things pretty interesting.

Exactly and this is why it appeals to me.

I would be OK with it but someone is going to get royally screwed.

This is starting to sound complicated for a dumb hillbilly…

A pure 2QB league with 12 teams is rough as there are only 32 starting QBs on any given Sunday and there's going to be demand for 36 QBs on rosters.

IMO for a 2QB league you need 10 teams or fewer.

An OP Flex (any offensive player - QB/RB/WR/TE) is a possibility.  At least in that situation the teams that don't have a third QB for bye weeks can start someone in that roster spot.

In the case of an OP spot, some GMs may carry a handcuff QB (Nick Foles for Mike Vick or Brock Osweiller for Peyton Manning, for example) but most GMs will prefer to carry 3 QBs.  The dynasty league I'm in uses an OP slot and every starting QB in the NFL is owned, as well as a few backups.  If you don't bench a handcuff, your roster is in bad shape if one of your QBs goes down.

With 6pt pass TDs, the value of QBs in the league skyrockets when you double up on the position.

NOT in favor of 2 QBs. Bad idea.

Have we at least got enough interest to change the prize system? What Tom suggested was an excellent idea.

As you might have guessed, I'm down with an expanded prize structure.

My original proposal:

$50/GM.  $600 total.

$300 to 1st

$125 to 2nd

$50 to 3rd

$50 to highest single week point total, including playoffs but not bye week totals.

$50 to regular season best record with total points tiebreaker

$25 to the winner of the consolation bracket.

If you'd prefer to eliminate the consolation bracket entirely and make 2nd place pat $150, great.

We tried other leagues and failed miserably. We need to stay put in my opinion.

Is that what he's talking about?

I thought he just had an aversion to this stuff:
