My all star ballot. I usually vote for whomever I think deserves it, regardless of team but if there's a tie I go for the O's. I wanted to pick Weiters but Mauer is just better at the plate, I think their defense is equal. I also liked Posey but Molina is hitting better and you can't beat having him behind the plate.
American League 1B - Davis, Chris 2B - Pedroia, Dustin SS - Hardy, J.J. 3B - Cabrera, Miguel C - Mauer, Joe DH - Ortiz, David OF - Jones, Adam OF - Markakis, Nick OF - Trout, Mike National League 1B - Goldschmidt, Paul 2B - Phillips, Brandon SS - Tulowitzki, Troy 3B - Wright, David C - Molina, Yadier OF - Beltran, Carlos OF - Brown, Domonic OF - Cuddyer, Michael |

Holy mindfuck. Why in the hell would you walk Pedroia to get to DAVID ORTIZ WITH THE GAME ON THE LINE!?!?!?

Need to go to rain delay in this O's game. Someone's gonna get hurt if they keep playing.

3 in a row Way to jinx it. Yeah So why hasn't Jim Johnson pitched in extra innings yet? I'd figure you'd want to use him in the 10th. |

Guess Johnson is picthing now. So, how many more innings before we get to see this again: http://i.huffpost.com/gen/596692/thumbs/r-ORIOLES-RED-SOX-CHRIS-DAVIS-large570.jpg That was amazing. |

Arrieta is just a mystery of the universe, I don't understand it. Looks like he's going back to Norfolk, Brittan is supposed to get another chance to start tonight. Looking forward to it.

Zach Britton pitched well tonight. Hope they can win the series tomorrow.

My Buccos tied for first in the NL Central and tied for the best record in baseball.
Until St. Louis plays again tomorrow... |

Holy crap I need to venture into this forum more often, wouldn't have guessed the MLB thread would basically be an Orioles fan thread
Davis is a monster, I love it. |

We always buy a visitor baseball and bobblehead for our collection so we picked up a Machado. I'll post a pic of us to this post when I can. Quite the streak the Orioles are on. They are on fire. Next time you come enjoy a game at Camden Yards check out the Babe Ruth Birthplace if you haven't already. It's right around the corner from Camden Yards. |

Harper goes deep in his first AB back.
I'm playing grand turismo because there's not O's baseball tonight |

Ruh roh ... Nationals found their bats. 23 runs in two games, 42 in their last 7 days, and 64 in the last two weeks

As a lifelong Braves fan, I was glad to see Freeman getting voted into the Allstar game. When the final NL candidates were announced, I for sure thought Puig was gonna be voted in. The sports media were 100% behind Puig too. I personally don't think rookies should even be eligible for the Allstar game, some may not agree.
Now since the winners were announced, I'm laughing at all the butthurt people online claiming racism kept Puig from winning the vote. |

Nationals need to be sellers at the deadline. It's not their year. The offense is pathetic and they are consistently dominated by medicore pitchers.
Laroche would have some value, probably to a team like the Yankees. Storen, if he can show that he is fixed, would be worth something to a team needing bullpen help. Span is all but useless. I think they should just DFA him. Next off season, they need to get someone an outfield bat of someone who can actually hit. Choo, Ellsbury, Zoberist, maybe even Beltran. Take the prospects they got from dealing Laroche & Storen, add a few of their own, and try to pry Jeff Smardzja away from the Cubs. Sign Phil Hughes to a 1 year deal and let him be the 5th starter. Push Detwiler to the pen, unless he shows an incredible improvement in his ability to use his offspeed stuff. |

It feels weird waiting til 1900 for the O's to play on a Sunday.
