Since when did Hardy bat lead off? Last year he was the #2 guy.  His BA dropped but he had 22 hrs and was a solid RBI guy. It makes sense to move him down to 6th and put a better contact hitter in the 2 spot.  I think having Davis #5 and Hardy #6 is a great set up and should give them both some good RBI opportunities. When they get Betemit back he would be a good #5 against right handers and Davis could bat #4.

He will probably juggle the line up around a lot. Personally I would rather have Markakis batting #2 or 3 and someone like Mclouth or Roberts bat lead off.

O's fans, its not Chris Davis.  Its Crush Davis.  That was his nickname when he was with the Rangers.  He flat out crushes the ball....if he doesn't strikeout

Yankees fan here. Flame on!

Man. when I heard about Cano signing with Jay Z as his agent, I did a faceplam.  The more I think about it, however, the more I like it. With Jay Z being a lifelong Yankees fan, I would hope that would translate to a hometown discount.  We shall see.

Meanwhile, my Yankees are in the crapper after two games. This season could be a switch with the Sox as the division cellar dweller. Hopefully not.

It was his Dad that wants him to remain a lifelong Yankee, I wish they would settle with him and bring back his smiling self, he should be the next Yankee captain

Tillman lost that game not Davis.  5 ERs in less than 4 innings.  He was a solid pitcher last year too. I would love to see Dylan Bundy come up to start in the show.

Also don't know why Flaherty is starting in front of Cassia. Isn't this exactly why we picked up Cassia? Flaherty is a good prospect but hes not helping the line up right now at all, 0-4 tonight.

First, how awesome was the 9th inning O's win in Fenway? Markakis is being his normal awesome self and Davis hit number 5, looking like he may do that a lot this year.  And Manny is already writing his own story.  Tonight's rubber match is on MLB network at 7 for those who are interested.

Secondly, how pro is this?

I think if you guys moved this to GD more people would chime in from time to time. There's some hardcore fans that just don't get off the beaten path much.

New pitcher for the O's today, Josh Stinson.  I really liked his stuff, he threw some awesome curve balls but I think he's been practicing with Tommy Hunter, gave up 4 hrs in 5 2/3 in.  Still he has potential, only gave up 1 walk so if he can stop throwing those meatballs to Jose Bautista he can do alright.

Game going into the bottom of the 10th now.  Would like to end this soon before playing 11 strait on the road, go O's!
