Two machines.
Original with i5 and 4gb of RAM, suspected water damage (wife) it won't power on any more. Tried the EMC reset/basic stuff. No joy.
Ebay: i7 with 8gb of Ram, identical machine otherwise. Damaged display (works but has impact damage)

Goal: Original SSD in i7 with 8gb logic board and original display.

So, am I moving the display and SSD over to the eBay machine, or am I pulling the logic board out of the eBay machine and putting that in the original?

I think the latter is easier from the few tuts and vids I've seen, but wondering if water damage maybe is the keyboard (apparently non-removable/riveted in).

Need help from those in the know!
