I have

http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-660/pd

Max RAM is 8 GB.  When searching, do I simply use DDR3 1600 8gb as search parameters?  Computer currently has 2 2gb sticks.

Recommendations?

Here's a pic of the stick that is in it now. I thought it was 2x2GB, but it's obvoiusly 1x4gb.  I purchased PC3 12800 2x4gb RAM, but the computer beeped at me and wouldn't start. I removed the two new sticks, installed the old, and it started fine. Sticks were new, so should I try to install one in the extra slot and see what happens?
