Is Microsoft up to its games, slowing my machine down to make me buy new? My old xp computer got so slow loading the sentinel website that I finally replaced it. Now all of a sudden my win7 machine is starting to load the websites slow. Drudge locks up for 10 seconds or so before it finally loads. I run Norton, Spybot and Malwarebytes along with having all the pop up blockers and everything set with Explorer... Is there anything I can change to make it load normally?

I'll switch to Firefox if I have to.

Clean up temp files?

doubt that will work, Norton cleans that out on a regular basis.

Nuke and pave.  You should be nuking and paving every 2 years, just on general principle.
