As the title says, I have to close over a dozen of this same file dllhost.exe every 15 minutes or it uses 100% of my memory. I don't know if this is some kind of virus, I have googled it and it seems to be a common issue, but have not found a solution. Does anyone have any idea's on this one? I would greatly appreciate some help here. This is getting old. I am running windows 7 on an asus computer, AVG anti virus, as well as anti spyware. Thanks in advance.

The DllHost.exe program does nothing more than load a DLL and start it running at a given entry point.  You will need to find out which DLL is being hosted that is using up all the memory.

Alternatively, you may have a virus by the same name.

I would start with a scan using MalwareBytes
