So the wifes Sero 7 Pro  broke (sorry no pics on this computer) when it was dropped and I need to get her a new tablet.  Walmart only sells Sero 7 Pro's online.  Currently what is the best tablet for $150.00 or less (7-8 inch tablet)?

If you can spend a little bit more, Costco has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 for $180 or so.  It's 7in and runs the latest Android.

if it is just the screen, have you considered replacing it yourself?
I had a tmax that the wife dropped.
got my money back on it for that visa protection thing since sam's wouldn't take it back broken. (not that I expected them to, but had to ask for visa) at the time replacement screens were 70 bucks so I threw it in a drawer.
then I found the price on replacement screens had dropped to under 20 bucks this year. so I replaced it myself. took about an hour, watching videos.

The GT4 is fantastic.

If you are really looking to stay under $150, I'd look at the GT3 lite.

Thanks for this info.  My daughter broke the screen on her Sero 7 Pro (numerous times) and it finally stopped working.  Everything powers up and looks fine the "touch" feature is broken so she can't unlock it. I gave her my Sero 7 Pro to use but I see replacement screens are about $25.00 shipped on Ebay.  Watched the video, looked pretty straight forward, going to give it a try.
