It didn't come with instructions.  Do I just plug it in and it's ready to go?  It's supposed to be a good one.  I read that it can stream Amazon Prime and Netflix movies without having to buffer for very long.  

I found it at a bargain price of $15,871.50.

Really doesn't matter what you plug into the cable on your side of the line;   Comcast is just going to cripple on their side of the line with programed transfer limiters anyways.

So which SFP port do I use for AOL?

I'm just trying to figure out how to configure a backup port now.

We just installed a 100meg MPLS on a fiber ring.  The handoff is 2 fiber cables, one for the north loop and the other for the south loop.  Both terminate at the same data center, but only 1 is meant to be active at any one time.  So if the fiber on the north loop gets cut, the router should see a dead link and switch to the south loop.

I think I got it, but I'm waiting on Cisco to confirm.  The below config should switch over to Gi0/0/1 after 30 seconds of no signal on 0/0/0.

Yes, it's just a very nice ISR, capable of 2Gbps throughput (the 100meg port is actually just a throttled gig connection, which I'm sure will be increased in the near future).

I did figure out what I needed via Cisco.  The part in red had to be changed.  It will switch to the backup port immediately upon loss of connection.  Once on the backup port, if the primary is back up for 300 seconds, it switches back.

If this doesn't work like I want, I'll try out UDLD.  But I'm not sure if the provider's gear supports it.
