I want to an awesome music app called MILK on my laptop but i don't know what's the best emulator (free) that's out there right now. I need something that relative easy to understand and operate also be able download apps on it. Minimum pop up ads would be great as well.


Google fu gives you many different choices but I just thought I'd ask to see what any of y'all use and like before I do.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've already tried bluestacks and my AV program (bitdefender) doesn't like it.

I can't ignore my AV. The program stops installation with some kind of compatibility issue with bitdefender.

I just installed Bitdefender and I'd like to keep it that's why I was checking to see of there were other programs that did a good job. If not I guess I will uninstall BD and go back to Norton (it sucked).

Ok, so I downloaded and installed bluestacks and it seems to work fine. I also was able to get a copy of the milk music apk (which is the app I wanted to run on my pc to get me started into all this) but now I have another problem.

The milk music app is designed to only be used on a samsung galaxy model phone, so it won't work with bluestacks in it's current form. I'm trying to root it so I can use xposed framework app that will allow me to change the device's name to make the milk music program think it's actually installed in a galaxy device.

Problem is, I just can't get the root toolkit to work right for bluestacks. It keeps saying the superuser part of the toolkit is missing, and I can't find another version of it anywhere.

Any ideas?
