AMD only

I have a 7790 now that plays BF3 just fine but with the stock cooler at 95%, I have seen the temps on the GPU rise to 60 Celsius.

My APU (A10-6800k overclocked) is water cooled so I want to get a new GPU that I can water cool (same loop).

Looking at Radeon R9. Most I ever do it play BF3 and watch/record HD tv.

Does anyone have one of the aforementioned GPUs or some insight?

Are you having trouble finding the block or one already fitted from factory?

No one makes a block for a 7790.

I would say upgrade your card. Get a GTX 770 or find a GTX 680 if you don't want to spend a lot.

The GTX 780s are good (I'm using 2 780 Ti SC).

The 780s might be dropping in price with Nvidias 6gb 780 cards coming out soon.

ETA, with my set up (2x 780 Ti superclocked in SLI & 4770k CPU, I can play ARMA 3 and BF4 maxed out with stock fans running about 15-20% and doesn't go over 55 c

So.... what is the problem? Upgrade just for the sake of upgrading? 60 degrees is not a problem. If you're current system has no performance problems, then just wait until you have to upgrade and then do a full system upgrade with water cooling then.

If you want to put a water block on the 7790 to make your system quieter on load I can understand. Have you looked at some of these universal waterblocks?

Why must you have an AMD GPU?
