If you can recommend 2 choices –

1) Wireless headset so I can walk the room while I am on conference call from PC or iphone

2) Bluetooth that will work with my iphone (4s) and and Dell Latitude E5410 (Lync).

I'd be indebted! Thanks, Patty

I have a Jawbone Icon. I work in sawmills a lot and the noise cancelling is so good that it is rare when the person on the other end mentions the background noise. Crystal clear on the recieving end too. Cost $140 OTD at ATT store.

LG HBS-700...

I work in the mobile communication industry (not sales) and use this about 5 hours a day, as do most of my immediate colleagues. Great battery life (have achieved 11 hours of use with it on a full charge), clear/crisp microphone and volume control. I have it paired to my work phone, my personal phone and my ipad without issues (just have to tell the device to use it since they are usually within PAN-range). It is also Skype/Messenger friendly on the PC (well, OS X v10.6.8 in my case).

Can be used with a single ear-bud or in stereo/support A2DP.

I got this one because I absolutely hate the bluetooth headsets that you have to jam in your ear and hope it stays there. Not cheap, but oh so worth it!

I've used it for 90 min work-related conversations and also for music, sounded great.

I was using a Jawbone Icon for a few months. I had heard nothing but good reviews on Jawbones so I dropped $140 one one. My wife was constantly telling me she couldn't hear me, words were chopping up, background noise to loud, etc. I tried every permutation of earpiece and software updates and no better. I bought a Peltor headset on recommendation of an Industry professional and have been extremely pleased. Of course it's big and bulky and acts like ear pro, and it has old bluetooth tech so no music listening, but I stood between 2 Cummings 12 cylinders running at 1400 rpm in my engine room and my wife heard me clear as a bell. Was $89 from Amazon, I see price has gone up, again.
