THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Looks like THIS

Apparently it goes inside a NORSTAR NORTEL PLUS COMPACT ICS phone system. Pictured HERE

What is a Caller ID trunk card and an ICS phone system and how do they work together?

Thanks!

It's just a board that allows the phones connected to the system to interface with the PSTN.

Think of it as being similar in function as a gateway router in a data network.

This is a very vague discription and not sure I can go into too much detail as I never did learn alot about the Northern Telecom stuff. I mostly have worked with the AT&T/Lucent/Avaya equipment.
Let's go shootn'

Had to go digging..

Manual

Also, that card essentially provides for a pool of 4 analog connections to support connected units with caller-ID capability.
