THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Since such devices access the web via WiFi, what sort of anti virus software should be used (if any)?

AVAST for Android seems to be well reviewed, and free, but appears to be more appropriate for an Android smart phone than a pad due to some of the features.

Any advice, comments and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Grumpy

Thanks for the info, guys.

Any of the Android AV that I've looked at seems geared toward the smart phone, but they also mention using the AV feature with pads.

Call me paranoid (go ahead, you'll feel better), but I'd just feel better with some sort of AV installed if I'm hitting the web at secured or unsecured WiFi connections.
