THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
A quick google search for "Cell phone booster" increased my misunderstanding.

My desk / building corner has ZERO Verizon coverage. I would like to purchase some sort of booster / repeater so my cell phone will work. The devices I saw on my search seemed to be designed to boost a single cell phone's signal. I need one that can be used by multiple people (Ten people is a decent estimate...)

Anyone have any experience with a device that fits my description?

Just saw this last night:

http://support.verizonwireless.com/faqs/Equipment/network_extender_business.html
or
http://business.verizonwireless.com/content/b2b/en/wireless-products-services/network-extender-business.html

Network Extender for Business is not the same as Network Extender for Home. I don't have either, by the way.
However, it *looks* like it would serve your needs. The home version is $249 or so. Business version *might* be $399.

Good Luck!

This might work for you:

If you need a bi-directional booster, it's going to be more expensive. Wilson has a kit for $650 or so.
I mean if this goes tits up...

If you haven't done anything yet, I am a dealer for this company and can vouch for their products. They have some self install kits that may work for you. If you contact a reseller, you might be able to get better pricing than their website.

Is this the same as a femtocell?

I have sprint and have 0 coverage at my house even though sprint says that there is plenty of 3G there. They are sending me a femtocell to plug into my high speed internet.

they said it will support 6 phones or something like that.

0 cost to me and 0 monthly cost to use. My sprint phone works good everywhere else including down towards the end of my street.

Must have been AP's operating right at or below the the 2.412GHz range or the extender may have been placed near the central AP (stronger RF interference~noise).

FYI, Samsung makes the VZW extender (both home and business). Used to be femtocell.
