Actually, it looks like this is a feature built into youtube. Where you can just upload your photos and music, and it'll stitch it all together for you. Which is pretty cool. But I haven't figured out how to also add video clips to the production yet....

Ok, the good news is the youtube thing looks like it works quite well, and is set up to easily let you stitch your photos and video clips together quite nicely. And even lets you adjust speed, duration of photos individual, effects, etc. It's pretty nice.
There's a method to add music, and that's where the rub is. you can either use their prefab music. Or you can upload your own, but it's not easy - the upload has to be in the form of a video (from which it'll just use the audiotrack). And it sniffs the music, and if thinks it might be copywritten, it won't let you use it with your video. So.... Almost works easy.
