I have the 7d mark ii and I can get the cameras flash to work in Auto mode but it doesn't work in manual mode. I', thinking it's got to be a setting on the camera that I haven't figured out yet. I've watched several tutorials on youtube but no luck! Hel[p please.

What happens when you push the flash button to enable it?

I push the flash button to pop up the flash but when I shoot in any light it doesn't flash.

Try this: Put it in "P" and menu to Image Quality screen, first menu on my T5.

Should have flash control on the bottom. Enable Flash firing.

Thanks! After enabling flash firing I remembered turning it off when I first got the camera and was still using auto mode.
