Yongnuo 35mm F/2 lens with autofocus for Nikon bodies is now available at Amazon if anyone was thinking of picking one up.  The 50mm gets good reviews, so I don't see why the 35mm should be any different.

That's about half what a new 35 f/1.8g DX costs.

I know lots of guys like their flashes. I haven't ever seen any of their lenses, or pics taken with their lenses that I'm aware of.

For under a hundred bucks though, it may well be worth a try.

FWIW, I picked up the Canon 50mm F1.8 for the class and I've been happy with it. The thing feels cheap as all get out, and the Chinese to English instructions were hilarious, but it does take good photos. For $56 shipped I could never complain.
