30 second ISO 100 f/4.5 70mm photo of the pup sleeping on the couch next to the wood stove. I'll do a real edit in the AM. This is 30 seconds with photoshop mobile, but purposely not touching exposure.

I almost captioned it: "Aimless in his youth."

Been waiting for a few years for an opportunity for this shot.  This is an open pit granite mine.

This is two frames stitched together.  If you look closely, near the center, you can see a drilling rig and pickup truck (rig is drilling holes for blasting?).  Up one level and to the right of the rig you can see the mouths of two tunnels; these tunnels are about 50 feet tall and provide transport for the gigantic rock trucks bringing stone from the north side (where this pt is) under a public highway, to the south side where they process the rock.

The pit is about 250 feet deep.  It's about 2,400 feet from where I took the picture to the tunnels (pit is about 2,000 feet wide and 2,000 feet long).

My first LR panorama, and didn't intend to take a pano when I shot the frames.  Turned out OK, I think.

I haven't felt well enough to drive, so I'm dicking around at home as usual.

Spent Valentines evening alone in the living room due to the wife being sick. So, I took a selfie.

Since FredMan is in Hawaii, here is a Hawaiian gecko I snapped when we were there about a year ago (unfortunately I didn't get his eyes in focus  )

Funny you asked.  That is cylinder #4 of my f150 4.6.  A rock is lodged in next to the spark plug.

Ah. Well............since it's a Ford, you're better off scrapping it and getting something else.

Not entirely sure.

It looked like it may have hit the wire barrier.  No major damage that I could see other than the fire damage.
