I just blew my wad on a very lightly used D4 (4135 actuations and not a mark on the body). Every thing is great except that it will not run either of my 64gb 1066x Lexar cards. I went to Nikon who said the cards should work in the camera and to talk to Lexar. Lexar said since the cards work in other cameras (they work fine in my D3 and D200) and are readable that there is no issue with the cards and I need to talk to Nikon.

Any one have any suggestions? I've got shoots both saturday and sunday over the next 4 weekends and really don't want to buy a bunch of new cards.

What do you mean "won't run"?  What error is it throwing?

Buy a Sandisk Extreme Pro, the D4 loves them.

Yes, it is.  However, there are a some production runs of the Lexar cards that do have compatibility problems with Nikon D4 cameras.

10+ years ago, I would tell people to buy only Lexar. In the past few years, I've been recommending Sandisk. It seems like they have better QC.

Said "this card cannot be used. It had been corrupted."

They work in my d3 d200 and can be read by my computer.

I bought a sandisk. it works. Problem solved.

I've used Lexar cards since I have been using digital cameras. They have worked well and when they don't, Lexar is right there to help out.

The cards work great in my other cameras. just not the D4. I'm selling them on amazon and I'll be buying all sandisk.

If anyone wants them let me know. I'll give you a screaming deal. They are great cards otherwise.

Good to see you have the problem solved.

It is.often advised to format the card with the camera and not with the computer.  If you use the computer to format, you could get corruption as a result.

Sandisk are great cards. I primarily use them with my Canon cameras.
