That would be nuts in a calendar year. I've had beta access since July, some interesting new things with garrisons and the like being added. Health, stats, etc is closer to post vanilla /early BC. More streamlined. I like the characters and most of the story other than how we arrive there (Garrosh escapes from SoO and gets into alternate Draenor). |

In 3 calendar years I hit /played 375+ days on my account which my 17 year old son plays now.
In the last month or so the itch has definitely come back. I loved the end game and raided seriously in Vanilla, BC, and Wotlk, skipped Pandas all together. Now to convince my son to give me my account back so I dont have to go farm another Deathcharger's Reins (Stratholme) You guys are nerds btw.

I've been playing since vanilla. I have no idea how many hours /played I have , but I'm sure it's well over a year between all the mains I've had.
I may have wasted my youth, but I for sure met a lot of good people and learned a lot along the way.

You pretty much have to min/max, or you don't get to do anything but grind dailies. Nobody will take you on raids when you hit like a wet noodle, you get frustrated in PvP because nothing dies.... Like last time I tried to play fire during pandas shortly before I hung it up again. I didn't have uber ultra mega heroic ilvl 87000 gear that you needed to play fire properly, so I didn't have a whole lot of crit, and it sucked. Reliant on RNGs for high damage procs unless you want to stand there for 5 seconds to watch pyroblast charge. I really wish ESO hadn't flopped. Play the way you want, do what you want, it doesn't matter, you'll still be viable. Will you be as good as someone that's min/maxing? Nope. But you'll be close enough that the difference is negligible. I was a sorcerer running around in plate with a big honking sword strapped on my back for when my spells failed to sufficiently melt your face off at a distance. God it was fun. Just not enough people to play with. And crafting... Crafting was tits.

Wasn't certain on the lore at first but everything except the gated valor rewards in the beginning (not an issue now) has been pretty fun. I like competing with friends to master something difficult, WoW endgame is like herding cats. I raid 3 hours a night, 3 nights a week. Well thats the defacto schedule, we have bench nights and schedule off time we want off. It really is like a part time job. I agree with Jinxsters, it keeps me from going out and spending other money during the week. |

Finally started replacing my gear; got some ilvl 645 (yes really 645) shoulders that had double the agility that my T16 set ones did, also got a ring and a trinket that are worth using. TLDR Answer: Pandas (horde or alliance!), Monks, Garrosh is bad and we almost get to kill him but he escapes, Voljin new Warchief. I also have the herioc BoA. I think the ilvl is 584. What level did you start using your BoA and put down your herioc weapon? |
