As much as I'm bummed to see it pushed to 2018, I have faith that they'll deliver a quality game. They always do.

Farpoint VR better be decent or the PSVR is dead.
They have been slow on content and broken promises ever since that thing was released. Ace Combat and Farpoint are the two games that sold the PS4 and VR for me. |

I would rather them bump the game than release something not ready.
There are very few console aircraft games and I don't think any for the xbox one right now. Love Ace Combat and especially love the Tom Clancy HAWX series. I've been waiting for the next gen aircraft console games. |

Unless they've changed their mind. - When casual gamers and gaming CEOs see VR, they think gimmicky garbage that is fun for 5-10 minutes but not nearly as engrossing as a AAA game. They have no idea how to implement it properly. A proper Ace Combat game is better than a gimmick that will get boring in 45 minutes. - Sony is partially funding this I believe, which is why the VR mode is PS4 exclusive. PS4's don't have the power to implement VR properly in the campaign mode. So you're stuck with a gimmicky VR sub game mode. PC is entirely different, but I believe Sony will prevent PC from getting VR. We also have no idea how good the PC port will be. All that aside I am really looking forward to it. Until then, I will just play my Ace Combat skins in DCS:

I'll wait.
Assuming the game will be worth the wait with extra polish. Zelda BotW was delayed almost 2 years and to say it was worth the wait and extra time needed is an understatement. |

As long as the game is Bug free. Soo many games get released before they should and almost always need some patch soon afterward. Good on Namco.
I will definitely get this as long as it does not have that stupid DFM that locks you into tunnel vision vs another aircraft. ...I actually miss Over G fighters. Closest thing is Falcon 4.0 with BMS mod that adds a bunch of aircraft. The Japs could make some kick ass simulators if they really wanted too, but don't for some reason. |

I enjoyed the PS-VR that I tested out at a Gamestop a while back, only issue I saw is it would probably give me a headache if I played it too long. Not the case when I sat yesterday for an 8 hour Zelda BotW binge, only getting up of course for the usual things.

I honestly want it to go away, it's not a gaming experience I want or an experience I want my kids to have.
If a developer can't keep someone interested with a controller and a TV then the game's not worth playing. |
