Finally bought a PC, friend sold it to me for $300. Specs I know
Specs are i7 5th gen, 8gb RAM, 500 gb hard drive, Windows 10, motherboard is a MSI Z97 Gaming 5 ms-7917 Pretty sweet deal I think and once it gets a GPU I should be good. So while it runs it has no GPU and me being new to this I know nothing of what I want. I want to play PUB mainly, and don't need to run anything extremely high. I want a high FPS and am willing to sacrifice quality for that to stick to a lower cost GPU. Will a 1050TI run this? Should I go to 1060? |

i think this is the game everyone was hoping DayZ would turn into...eventually. Not sure about the user base now, but DayZ seemed to have a large user base at the start, but the slow development has probably lost users, especially when competition like PUBG and H1Z1 come out

I think I need this game ASAP. I'm running an AMD6300 16gigs of ddr3 and an old video card like a 650gt or 760gt or something like that. Will I be fine? |

Would still like to get in a duo or squad of guys from here. Think it would be more fun. I did a duo yesterday and was able to get down to me and one other person. Sadly I went for my sights instead of just firing freehand. We were only about 30' apart. /sigh

I was playing a LOT of Arma Exile for the last few months but picked this up last week.
SUPER ADDICTING! I just got my first SOLO CHICKEN DINNER!!!!!!!!! Jumped all by myself at the end @ Power Plant, got loaded up with Level 3 everything, K98 w/ 8x, AKM w/ Red Dot & EQ Mag and a SHIT LOAD of ammo. Played the circles perfectly and waited until the end to strike. Damn this game is amazing!

Anyone having mouse lag issues? Sometimes I click and nothing happens or it takes .25 to .5 seconds for the shot to go through.

If you have any funky mouse software (corsair cue, razer synapse, etc), get rid of it. If none of that works it's likely an issue with the game. |

Played a ton of duos and squads, finally had some alone time to run solos the other day, got me a chicken dinner on my 3rd ever solo attempt! This game is so awesome. We won 4 squad games in a row last night too, it was an excellent outing. Callouts were on point with my squad.

No match I join runs for me. I get "network lag detected", frame rate drops to 1 or 2 FPS. Download and upload is 60 and 6, 3 days ago everything was completely fine and I was playing match after match at a steady 60FPS. Yesterday everything started bogging down, same for today. Netflix streams perfectly in HD. i5 4690(was told this was an i7 5th gen by my friend who sold it to me, will be talking about this. ) 8 gigs ram 1050ti 500 gig HDD Windows 10 MSI motherboard Why would it suddenly drop two days ago? |

If you're running over a wireless connection try resetting your computer's wifi card/adapter as well as your router. If possibly try running on a wired connection. If wired fixes the issue you know there is something up with your wifi. Once again, your wireless could be perfectly fine for up/down speeds but could have an absolutely terrible ping which would cause the network lag issue. Lastly, in steam right click on the game and go to "verify game files". Probably won't fix it but that's the first thing you should do when you have issues with a game in steam, clears most things right up. |

I've played 64 solo so far. 11 top 10's (would be more if I didn't crash so much)

My ping is in high 80s and low 110s for NA servers.
ETA my brother who lives a mile down with same internet provider is not having these issues. My neighbor one door down plays it. Same connection and he doesn't have this issue. I just tried reinstalling the game. Didn't even make it past load screen to the hobby. |

I cant get it to install on my daughters computer. I hear you need to update win 7 to all the latest optional updates and I cant get those to work to save my life. Both our PC's are on the same CD key, that may be the issue. I need to figure out how to back up her current games and reinstall windows with another key I guess.

Mostly all issues people have were alleviated. Granted, most issues were due to privacy/telemetry/forced updates and there are toggles now to turn all of that shit off. |

Picked this one up a couple days ago! Great buy, wish they'd fix the shitty server lag. But then again, the game is still in development, so more is yet to come! I'm loving it! Great concept, great gameplay!

Thanks for the info, I hung on to XP as long as I could. only finally went to 7 about 2 years ago. I have 8 on a tablet and fucking hate it with a passion and thats even WITH a touch screen. I tried to do the accessibility scam to update hers to 10 free when the updates failed but it just lags at 99% which I hear is common for that update but I let it fun for over 24hours and it never went anywhere. wonder if thats key related as well. |
