I spent all of 15m browsing Bethesda.net today...
I came to a very quick conclusion that it's a watered down game-pad friendly pile of garbage, and I will be sticking with Nexus No offense to the console kiddies, but the whole mods on console thing still is not appealing in the least |
|
[#5]
When you accept the limitations vs. convenience of gaming on a console any mod capability is just a bonus. I was expecting to play FO4 exactly how it came on the disc and in DLCs, like Skyrim.

I like it. Concrete opened up so many more cool building options.
Does an airship count as a home? Sorry, obnoxious gallery is obnoxious.... From the ground, cabin suspended between twin armored gas cells. Triple power plants arranged as pushers. Gas cell rigging, I'm sure this would work for reals.. Top deck looking forward. Top deck looking aft, jet pack T60 because landing to get off is for suckers. Cabin looking forward, galley on left, bunks on right. Cabin looking aft, plumbing = hole out the bottom I figure. The cockpit, flight computer on left and digital flight instrumentation on right. Lower gun/lounge deck looking forward, no one needs railings! Best video I could manage: http://vid913.photobucket.com/albums/ac339/wade_duck/airship_tour_zpsd5vdrwzl.mp4 Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

It lets you mark locations as you find them. Helped me get up to 345ish before Far Harbor dropped, not sure how many more were added. |

I find the loot to be awesome, caps and ammo and weapons are plentiful and useful. If you go there try to find that marine armor as soon as the mission pops up, it's pretty slick stuff. |

Well this is new (to me). Turned on my Xbox to finish off the far harbor DLC main story. Turned it on and couldn't figure out where I was (no fog). Hit the map and I was in the common wealth. Come to see it doesn't when show I had STARTED far harbor. I looked through all my saves at everything shows my last save was on day 3 and 5x minutes. The last save I remember was well I to day 4. About this time it stopped stopped me and said f4 needed an update, kicked me out, and updated (438mb) few minm in later it let me start again but same thing, old save file was the "newest" one. I tried the power restart and nothing changed. Is there anything I can yry before I lose my shit?

http://help.bethesda.net/app/answers/detail/a_id/31721/~/what-do-i-do-if-i-am-missing-my-fallout-4-saves-on-xbox-one%3F What do I do if I am missing my Fallout 4 saves on Xbox One?
Published 11/16/2015 02:44 PM | Updated 01/06/2016 08:44 AM If you are missing Fallout 4 saves on your Xbox One, you should first check to ensure you are viewing the saves for the correct character. Characters in Fallout 4 have unique save files. If you are unable to see the save files for a specific character, you can press [Y] in the Load menu to switch characters or view all saves currently on the console. If you are still unable to locate your save files, you should power cycle your console and try again. To power cycle your Xbox One: Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for 10 seconds. Unplug the console's power cable and wait for 10 seconds. Plug the power cable back in and turn the console back on by pressing the Xbox button again. Once complete, log into your Xbox Live account, open Fallout 4, and let it sync with the cloud (if required). Your saves should now be visible. If you continue to experience issues viewing your Fallout 4 saves, you should contact Xbox Support for further assistance at https://support.xbox.com/. View Quote |

Not sure how XBOX handles external backups, but I push my saves to a USB drive every few days. I figured that since it was a Bethesda game I would have a bad time eventually if I didn't.

WARNING ON USING CONTRAPTIONS FOR TONS OF AMMO...
I now have 20k+ .45 that I have to fucking do something with... https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/4q96k4/whats_wrong_with_my_game/ What's wrong with my game??? (self.fo4) 1 point submitted 2 hours ago by Notrega I am on xbox with no mods... This started a few nights ago, scrapping used to be very quick, pulling a pile of a specific item used to be very quick, but now it is horribly slow. What's the hell is going on and how do I fix it?? https://youtu.be/TNTYlLP5LTI https://youtu.be/68DoW5PJhxc [–]Sturmstreik 1 point an hour ago You produced a lot of ammo with the new DLC, right? Unfortunately when doing this the game will treat each ammo pack of 10 as an individual object and will never ever merge them. So if you produce 10k ammo thats 1000 additional objects handled seperately by the game. This will slow down the game whenever interaction with your inventory is required. (Even shooting a gun) If you stored them in your workbench it will additionally slow down any interaction with the workbench - even crafting a wooden shack. tl;dr - Ammo (and probably other items) produced in the new DLC can slow down the game to a point of being unplayable. Solution: Sell all of the items produced this way [–]Notrega [S] 2 points an hour ago
Fuck me... [–]Sturmstreik 1 point an hour ago
I learned that the hard way, too. Crafted 30k .308 Ammo. Game essentially froze. I couldn't even throw those on the ground. View Quote |
