The single player story is fantastic. The modern day sequences at Abstergo are a chore.
No idea about the multiplayer. |

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Great game. Once you get your ship upgraded you can really whoop ass. I like the fighting in this one better than in Unity. You can FUCK people up once you get the blocking down. (I turn off all that over the head crap.) CLIP1 10 kill streak Killing red coats. |

Probably my favorite assassin's creed. Online not so much What were the issues with the online play? All you do is blend in and try to hide from other assassins while they simultaneously blend and hide from you. The single player is fantastic other than the modern day stuff, it's dumb. The setting isn't all that accurate but it's still a good game. |

Really enjoyed the game. I was nearing the end of the game after it first launched and ran into one of the game save corrupting bugs that wipes your saved games. Really sucked, had to start over. Haven't touched it since but have been wanting to play again so I suppose I'm reinstalling it lol.

The best of the series.
The hopping around island to island to "explore" got repetitive. The story was good though. Enjoyed the sea combat. Just wish you could upgrade to a bigger ship. |

On the one hand, they're a huge pain in the ass when you're trying to get somewhere. On the other hand, they crippled the escorts of an English treasure convoy and let me take down the Man O' War |

It's probably one of the better games in the series due to the sea combat. I'm not a huge fan of the Assassin's Creed series to begin with though, I get bored quickly and go play something else.

I just boarded the wrong ship. lol
two ships were very close when I damaged them, I went to board one, started blasting with the swivel gun and then swung from the rope onto the deck and killed a couple crew before I got a message on screen that I was too far from my ship, I turned around to see it moving away as it pulled itself onto the other ship, so I had to dive in and swim after it |

I've got my ship upgraded to just below the legendary level (Whaling boat/tools is/are fully upgraded). All crafting items finished except Health 4 and rope darts (can't find the great white sharks and haven't gotten far enough in the story for the latter). I'm using the cannon pistols, the pirate cutlasses, and the legendary clothes. I have a 12 ship fleet with 2 Man O Wars, 8 Frigates, and 2 Brigs. My island is totally finished and all low and medium zones are fully cleared (sans Kingston). I've just now got to Kingston to continue the main story. |

I think Ubisoft nuked the social rewards on at least the PSN, so it is impossibru now to get 100%. I've only got a couple animus fragments to get before there is absolutely nothing else to do.
Rogue is good too for the sailing, but the main story is short. If you don't have it already, BF has a companion app for tablets/phones that is cool for when you are getting the treasure maps finished up. On that note, MGSV:GZ has a bad ass companion app. Can't wait to get the Phantom pain. |

I was thinking about trying out Unity and Syndicate when it comes out (this is my first assassin's creed game and I'm enjoying it), but the minimum processor requirement is an i5 and I've got dual core 2 quads |

I just found the game Assassin's Creed: Rogue and the reviews are very positive. Released this year and has reasonable system requirements
Finished Black Flag with a 95% complete. About halfway done with Freedom Cry. |
