Any xbone players experiencing a glitch with saving and loading?  Sometimes the game fails to auto save and gets stuck at the loading screen.  Or it won't let you manually save.  Luckily I have only lost 15-20 minutes or play time since I save often, but some people have lost hours of playtime.  Seems the workaround is a hard restart of the xbox.

When you're done playing, quit to the main menu, and force close the game. Restarting from the dashboard after a forced close seems to keep that glitch from happening.

Now I can quit this game or just keep reloading the last save

So there I was, traveling through the woods in Velen, between Lindenvale and Reardon Manor, when a few wolves pop up in my path. I start hacking away at them and roll around like crazy, when suddenly my sword hits something that isn't a wolf. I instantly see a "red skull" next to its healthbar (I'm lvl 8). I take a quick glimpse of it in the midst of running away... it looked like Slenderman in armor! Scary shit!

I looked on the map, there are no question marks or identifying marks on the map near the location that I saw it. Really weird. I'll have to remember its location for when I'm a little higher level.

ETA: looked on google, found out what it was:

You clearly never played skyrim within the first year of release, then.  I played on PC rather than consoles, but Skyrim had more bugs in the first couple of hours that I played of it at release than I have seen in my entire playtime of this game so far.

I played all Elder Scrolls and Fallout games on PC and while they are buggy, the bugs didn't seem to affect game play too badly.  The Witcher 3 bugs are making it almost unplayable.  I have to hard reset my xbox just to get the game to load.

Woo, just found a Saddlebag for 70 weight at a merchant!!  More carry weight!  lol

As for bugs, this has been a very solid release for me, at least on PC.  Can't vouch for consoles.  I've had only 1 single crash in over 30 hours of play.  I'm very pleased with it.

If you want to check this area for some Relic gear, check the spoiler tag  Not sure if it's there for everyone but I got a nice piece of relic boots and a Witcher Sword.  It's a Pirate camp.  Clear it, check all the loot chests.

ETA:  I stand corrected, saddlebags do indeed help carry weight off a horse as well.

Same here on PC with no bugs, I had a crash that first day but then they released the patch and I have never crashed since then. Also playing it on ultra settings which you can not do on the console.

The console guys are really going to be crying when all the free mods come out on PC.

If you guys find any nice gear, post screenshots in spoilers like I did so we can check to see if it's the same for everyone.

I've been scouring the whole map in Velen.  Clearing each of the ? out.  Only found one really unmarked area and it was a Pirate area with nice gear.  Sure there's plenty more to find hidden away.

Found a little "lighthouse" type fort with a drawbridge on it.  I dont remember exactly the name, but you'll know it when you see it.  Has a Wyvren guarding it.  To get across see spoiler.

Those hard up for cash go to Novigrad.  You're likely to have a bunch of Florens and Orens.  Trade em in at the bank in Novi.  I had around 1400 crowns worth.

Minor suspected spoiler ahead. Keeping it vague but...

So I'm picking up on needing to choose between the love interests. Rather torn which way to go as I really don't want to replay days worth of game time if I choose poorly.  It seems some critical decisions have to be made rather early in the game before some characters flesh out. I'm waiting for that to bite me in the ass later

Same.  There is a caged wyvern that shows up on the border between Oxenfurt and Novigrad (right by the bridge on the north east side of the city) if you need a wyvern mutagen for decoctions.

I'm not there yet, but I'm expecting this as well.

In the second game I was completely faithful to Triss, so in theory I should stick with that.  But lore-wise, Yennefer is Geralt's "one true love."  Guess you gotta play it twice.
