HUUUUUUUGE Update is about to be released. The biggest and coolest thing is the movement system is getting tweaked to have two modes. Of course there are numerous quest fixes and an inventory modification as well! One that is supposed to be the standard model and then an added extra responsive model. I'm hoping for Witcher 2 style fidelity of movement!
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-witcher-3-is-getting-a-very-large-update-in-version-107/?ns_campaign=article-feed&ns_mchannel=ref&ns_source=steam&ns_linkname=0&ns_fee=0 NSFW Picture at link? Anyway a partial list of the changes A closer look at what's coming:
A new, alternative (optional) movement response mode for Geralt. A player stash for storing items, available in various locations throughout the game. Stash locations are marked on the player's map. Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the overall inventory weight. Books are now placed in a dedicated tab in the Inventory and books that have already been read are properly grayed out. Multiple sorting options are now available in the Inventory. Alchemy formulas and crafting diagrams can be "pinned", meaning all components and ingredients required to make them will be conveniently marked in the Shop panel. Dozens of fixes for quest related issues, both major and minor. A few performance enhancements, including the optimization of FX, scenes and general gameplay. Various improvements to horse behavior. I'm moving much slower than most of you. I'm only getting an hour or 2 per weekend right now. Got to Novigrad and got bored with all the city quests, so dropped back and finished off the Keira Metz story line. Then I was doing Griffin School Gear when I got pulled into Return to Crookback Bog. Lost my loot from the big baddy that showed up cause I died when I went to find Johnny. It had saved right after the bad guy, but not saved my loot from him? His body was gone from the ground when it reloaded. Uncommon monster parts and at least two mutagens...gone.
On a side note, the tower on Fyke Isle (I think that's the name) is hella creepy. Holy crap. Back on Griffin School Gear and got ambushed by about six wraiths. |

It looks more like a sci-fi cop drama to me. I would agree, though it's impossible to say how much the trailer has to do with the story. It may well be more of a worldbuilding trailer that has little to do with the plot itself. But I do generally get a very Dredd/Bladerunner/RoboCop vibe from it. I am 110% in for whatever the game is - CDPR is one of the only 2 companies that I will still blindly preorder from (the other being Bethesda Studios). I will preorder this thing the day they allow it, without knowing anything else about it. |

Ciri's special ability once you get to Kaer Mohren, so OP, and so awesome!
I think I'm close to finishing it. Tried to kill Imerlith last night, had him down to around 15% and died. It was late, and went to bed. Read up a little about strategy and will give it another go after work. Those Crones were weak, but nice to look at before they transformed |

Strategy says keep dodging until his weapon gets stuck in the ground and then hit him with heavy attacks, because he can't move, plus have igni on since he freezes occasionally. Do you remember which bombs you used? Or was that what they are called? I don't use bombs or potions near as what I should. I think during my close to 100 hours I've played, I've crafted maybe 4 potions. |

The trick to him is to just roll when teleports to attack and keep rolling until he pauses, then hit him once and resume being evasive. Just wear him down like that. Didn't have any luck with signs on him. I was thinking of the wild hunt guy that wields the staff. He also teleports, but he does it to stay at a distance. He can be bombed down. And what is this game patching that it takes 5GB to do it? That's the size of a whole expansion for other games. |

And I finally finished the main quest. I thought the final boss was easier than the other guy. My Xbox smartglass app says it took 120 hours, between all the side missions, running to question marks, ect. Wasn't thrilled about the ending, but I'm going to play it on the next level higher and see if I can come away with something different. |

While he was sitting there, I assume Triss, Yen, or Ciri showed up, but I glanced away and couldn't tell who it was. So I don't know if Geralt ended up alone or with someone. Dropped her as fast as possible. ws450r, the big thing with getting a "good" ciri ending (there's 2 different ones depending on your choices) is making sure you encourage her whenever possible. There's a few different choices that factor into it; I'm not going to spoil them here, but it's all spelled out very clearly online if you look. |

You reject Yen during a mission on a boat on top of a mountain...I forget the name. If you got both of those, you should have been with Triss. Unless, it's possible that the bad Ciri ending you got overrode the relationship parts. If you had gotten a good Ciri ending, then maybe you would have seen who you end up with. |

Weird. The way you know you locked in Triss is if you have sex in the lighthouse. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I went with Triss. No regrets. Triss is best. She doesn't toss you into the ocean for disagreeing with her. I told Triss I loved her, and thought I rejected Yen, which was why I wondered why I ended up alone. Weird. The way you know you locked in Triss is if you have sex in the lighthouse. What about the tryst with Yen during the wake? Does that count? I didn't do anything with Yen at that time, stayed and got drunk with the boys. What about when Geralt shows back up at Kaer Mohren with Ciri and Yen kisses him? Triss gives them a funny look. That wasn't selectable and seemed to be one of the ordinary cut scenes. |

What about the tryst with Yen during the wake? Does that count? I didn't do that, personally. However, I have read that the first tryst with Yen is a freebie, so to speak, and doesn't affect the relationship stuff. Neither do brothel visits, the Keira stuff, or anything else. It's all about the two personal mission lines for Triss and Yen and how you act during them that actually determines who you end up with. |

Bump. Just finished Ugly Baby. That one really made me feel something, even though Click To View Spoiler
I figured it was just Avallac'h trapped in Uma's body. Still the part with Lambert and Eskel had me rolling on the floor, and when Yen showed up
I did all the footwork and sidequests up front to get them out of the way so I could finish the story more or less uninterrupted. Think I have over 100hrs in so far. Does anyone know how I can check on PS4? Still, even with the bugs (I couldn't complete collect 'em all and get the trophy), what a fantastic game. |

I saw it one day, but can't remember off the top of my head. On the xbox smartglass app it has hours as well, so I don't know if PS4 has something similar. Sounds like you played how I did. Sidequests first, with some main thrown in, and then focused on the main last. I had around 100 hours in before I finished the main quest as well. |

Just beat it finally. 200 hours in. Other than occasionally playing battlefield with my brother I have been playing Witcher since release. 3 1/2 months & loved every minute of it.
Such a great game. I really hope Fallout is this good. I love fallout but now having doubts that the new one might be better after this masterpiece. What a story. Somehow I never played any of the other Witcher games. Looking forward to the dlc. |

FYI you can download a free DLC to do a second playthrough and keep your gear.
