Something to think about after this war: I saw two lavaloon attacks where the loons killed the town hall at the same time as the teslas. The teslas were placed right against the town hall and the loon splash damage was enough to take out the town hall. One of the attacks was the three star on me, another was higher up. If the loon splash is highest in the center and weaker at the edges, then having the 2x2 teslas adjacent to the town hall may be putting high damage on the th. Or the damage may be 3x3 and equal across the diameter, but that exceeds the tesla size, so it's hitting the town hall. Either way, it seems like it would be wise to get a little separation between 2x2 defenses (teslas and fartbox, any others?) and the town hall.
ETA: The reason I think this is significant is that the weakness of a loon attack is they won't target the town hall until all the defenses are killed off. We don't want to let loons kill our th with collateral damage. If they don't kill the th with splash, they might not get it at all. ETA2: The 3 star hit on me is still available for replay, go check it out. ETA3: The other one is the hit on our 9 by their 5. Thoughts? |

JB, we are willing to let you back, but I want to make sure you know why we kicked you and other concerns we had. It wasn't just the not attacking in war part, but also it seemed like you were really just rushing your attacks out to get them used up, using (if i recall correctly) a standard gowipe attack with 4 rage spells... and this attack wasn't working out well for you at all. Joe and some others were trying to help you in chat but we could never get a reply out of you. We don't want anyone afraid to ask for help on which sides to attack, and spell compositions. A jump spell on your attacks would have helped a lot but it was like you never checked the chat. It also didn't help that you weren't on KIK with us. (Chat app for iphone/android that we use to contact each other outside of the game, its really convenient)
I know real life stuff comes up, we all have it, so when you know you can't commit to getting your attacks in, make sure to use the opt out feature so you don't end up in war when you can't do it. |
