Pretty much every night or two, yeah.
And spike, it's easy to gain light in the raid. I went up ~7 or so in my run and didn't even finish. It's not try hard till the last boss and like Atheon it's just practicing the mechanics from earlier. Just a ton going on. Hopping on a plane in 20, so I'll post if I can this week. If not, I'll see you guys ok Xbox Saturday. |

I would like to raid but can only do it saturday night. Im currently 351. Im trying to get higher. Same here You'll be fine. Just bring a raze lighter and highest legend heavy you have. Will need the sword on captains but heavy for boss. Sniper rifle and shotgun/fusion are necessary as well. Primary is your pick, but pulse and scout rifles with long range rule for most of it. A lot of the guys you don't want to let close with you. |

It took some getting used to coming from scout rifles, but now that I've learned the recoil properties of it I can't use anything else. I haven't really messed with the Khvostov. I bought a 350 ghost. Played a heroic strike (Psion Flayers) at 342 light and it was brutal. I don't know how many synths I burned for the jellyhorn
Just spent time cleaning out my vault, until I was maxed on legendary marks (was down to 39 after a spending spree) and my finger was tired. Year 1 extoic armor? Gone! Under 340 light Gone. I'm at 344 (not with gear I want to use) and 340s are dropping like rain |

I can't stress enough. Just play the heroic strike set. I went up approx 10 light in 3 hrs this past weekend. So much to the point where I logged onto my Titan tonight and just put stuff on him. He is now at 361 light and I haven't even played the expansion yet. You will gain about 1-2 light each strike sometimes more. I'm just hoping that with reset tomorrow we get better modifiers for the heroics and nightfall. I really like the khvostov but there are so many other exotics that are better ghorn, raze lighter, sleeper. In a raid or high lvl pve these will do 35k damage per hit basically. |

Yep, heroics are where it's at. I played 4 strikes earlier and gained 2 ll on my hunter to 355.
Don't know if it's worth it or not, but I'm leveling up the dead orbit scout rifle. It dropped for me in a package with extended mag, triple tap, and firefly. I also picked up the palindrome tonight. Seemed kind of fun during the limited time i used it on some patrols. I also got a 354 ll ghost out of a vanguard package. |

The vendor roll for Angel's Advocate isn't too bad IMO. Outlaw and reactive reload work well with each other. I want to give it a try as well, but I'm probably gonna buy the Dead Orbit shotgun first.
I have the FWC vendor scout, the Wounding. With the perk roll on it, it feels very Vision of Confluence-ish. 37/48, zen moment, outlaw. I keep going back to my Not Like the Others though, because firefly. And I've still got my OG Hung Jury stuck back if I wanted to bring that out. |

Wounded was one of my first purchases and has served me well. However, I'm back on the OG HJ since getting past 350. It's just too good. In fact I'm still sticking with most of my TTK setup (1KYS and Qullims).
I picked up the Palindrome to give it a shot in the Crucible but haven't used it yet. Other than that there isn't anything I've seen that's a "must have". Not sure what I'm going to do with the marks I have. I'm still hoping for a good Keystone and Angels Advocate rolls. Also looking forward to some raid weapon drops. |

I really like the Dead orbit scout and auto rifle. I got a really good roll on the auto rifle threw a package...i think range finder perfect balance and armor piercing rounds

The few new weapons I've gotten have all been crap rolls. I did get a void hmg with max stability and a 70 round mag that I like. And a new fusion rifle that I like.
But so far all my PVE adventures were with HJ, 1KYS, and whatever heavy that's high LL. I'm going to be grinding the strike Playlist tomorrow morning from 9am-3pm est if anybody wants to do that. |

The fifth monitor has been figured out and the chest rewards something called a Siva engine which starts a new quest line.
The Sleeper Simulant quest didn't have shit on this one. What's annoying are the dudes who try speed running strikes, just blitzing through everything, not firing a shot. One of two things usually happens:
They get mauled trying to get through a pack of enemies, leaving you to try and kill everything by yourself. Or they make it through but everything they ran through is pissed off and aggro'd at you, and you get mauled to death. How hard is it just to take your time and do the fucking strike properly? |
