285 Light now. Had 2 kids run me through a nightfall strike. Got The Dealbreaker auto rifle as the weekly reward and picked up the 300 shotgun for a quest reward.

In the tower hanger, all the way in the back of the bar.
Skullfort (eh, meh. Interesting in PVE with melting point Sunbreaker titans, but overall there are other exotics that are more useful IMO like Ruin Wings or Armamentarium) Symbiote (the PVP gunslinger helm, but in year two they reduced the amount of time your golden gun is active. I don't have one of these yet myself, so I don't know exactly how long that is from year one. If you like blasting things with golden gun, and have some spare coins, it's probably worth picking up) Praxic Fire (eh, meh. It was the year one sunsinger exotic until the Ram came around, but I think that's because all the other year one sunsinger exotics sucked. Gets you one or two more grenades while you're in radiance. An okay pick, but the Ram is back for year two and it's as good as ever, that's what I use on my sunsinger) Hard Light (has its moments in PVP with no damage fall off and increased stability from year one. In PVE, nope. Use Zhalo over this thing in PVE, it has elemental damage and chains to multiple enemies. Not an urgent buy unless you really wanted one) |

I think it's kind of shitty that they are giving away 320 helmets for racing. I busted my ass in oryx challenge and all I got was a 320 helmet. Anyway, that's enough bitching for today. If any of you newer guys want/need any red bull codes I have a ton that I haven't used just shoot me a pm and I'll send you a few.

The way that worked best for us is to have everyone kill the knight opposite them, it leaves only one knight you have to worry about. Usually its the back knight and then one of the top titans and the other platformer just tag team them. We had more issues with the shade delaying the slam (which we solved by a titan or warlock jumping above his head) and ogres teleporting

Just a friendly tip, if you like scout rifles and don't have the inward lamp go grind trials until you get one. It's probably my new favorite primary, I doubt I'll be using anything else for a good while.

So I got in with Spyke and a couple of guys he's rolled with before, lucky and Vermillion, and *still* can't make it happen.
And this time around, we were doing good. We did everything we were supposed to do. But I can't do anything about ogres that teleport, or the vessel not taking damage, or getting killed by a misadventure immediately after we survive the shade phase. The last run tonight, I get teleported in and the shade isn't taking any damage, it's just sitting out there in the mist looking at me. I don't mind taking my lumps if I'm failing to do my part. But when I do do my part, and the game shits all over me, that I don't like. |

ya, so many times have we made it to the last part before setting bombs off and lag and or a bug happens...we had a strong team.
I think we might of messed up 3 or 4 times and 10-15 times were bugs and lag. mine was spilling coffee on my controller, crashing out the game from a short, it some how deleting something game wise and had to reinstall destiny

After about six or eight more tries, Wes and I got it done with a group from the 100io late last night. I think we figured out a pretty decent strategy when it comes to killing ogres and knights.
We had two titans in the middle with Weapons and Blessing bubbles stacked, using Touch of Malice. That combined with the guys on the platforms shooting the ogres as well, melted them way faster than we ever were able to otherwise. Those things really have to die immediately where they spawn for everything to work out. It also seems that with that much damage stun locking them, there were no more weird issues with them teleporting around either. The guys on the plates are responsible for knights 1-3, one of the guys on the plate depending on which plate and where it is also tries to get the fourth knight if possible, but depending on where you are in the rotation and how fast your relic runner is this is easier said than done, failing that one of the titans in the middle keeps an eye out for the fourth knight. As soon as your relic guy has the spark, everyone get off the plates immediately and meet the titans in the middle in their bubbles. The relic guy is gonna contend with the vessel, while the remainder of the team is in the middle killing adds and looking out for that fourth knight if it's still alive at this point. Relic runner kills the vessel, rest of the team kills the final knight, everyone meets in the middle, stun Oryx, kill adds, lather, rinse, repeat. |
