I messed around a little more and noticed one other change that bothers me. I read up on it just to make sure, but Quickdraw on bladedancers no longer includes the faster readying and swapping of weapons, now, it's just a flat faster ADS speed. I don't know if this affects weapons that have the quickdraw perk.
This is solely a feel thing for me, I like being able to swap and ready weapons quickly. That's why I use quickdraw on snipers, quickdraw on bladedancer, why I always have Ophidian Aspects on my warlock. Not having the fast swap really seals the deal and ruins the bladedancer class for me personally. Although I guess with the silly changes to special ammo, there ain't really much reason to switch between special and primary. 
You lose your HUD and radar for a few seconds coming out of blink, who cares, blink has sucked since about 2.3.0, and now it sucks even more. I'm genuinely confused, trying to figure out who are they catering to with these changes? |

I don't get the blade dancer nerfs. Between hungering blade and Quick Draw, there is no reason to use the subclass now.

I almost always played bladedancer in PVP, even after all the various nerfs and adjustments, it was still a class based around a pretty good roaming super and strong passives. Now, not so much. Everything they've changed on the subclass - arc bolt damage and range reduction, blink strike range reduction, backstab proc adjustment (this one probably needed to be done TBH, but still), blink delay, blink adds penalty to recovery, each swipe from arc blade consumes super energy, increased cool down between swipes (both of which are ridiculous because the hit detection has been wrong on blade for a long time, and generally you need every swing you can get...), and now further nerfing blink, quickdraw and hungering blade changes...there's nothing left anymore that really makes me want to use the subclass. I'm very confused and not really sure what they mean by these changes. |

QuickDraw was nerfed on everything I believe. Just reading the update doesn't really impress me so I'll continue to sit out and see what April brings if anything.

In the reef, but don't bother unless you need heavy ammo or exotic shards.
Eta - He's selling Lucky Raspberry, after bladedancer got smashed with the nerf bat yet again...fuck you, Bungie.

Can't a brother get a fuckin' Truth? If you aren't going to give it to me from engrams, at least let Xur sell it.  I think I've gotten 8 or so Thunderlords now. Seems to be the only heavy that will drop for me.

One of these things happens more often than not: 1) Dead/respawn too far away when heavy drops 2) Douche team mate takes the heavy before anyone else can get there 3) Get sniped/supered at the heavy box 4) Killed with a rocket before you even get to use your heavy. Happens to me a lot when using machine guns. 5) Miss horribly with non-tracking rockets and get no kills |

I don't really worry about heavy either, usually because I get instantly gibbed as soon as I pick it up. And if I do survive picking it up, I can't kill a damn thing with it.

Usually the best I can hope for is to rush the heavy the enemy team is going for and either pick off a couple people or make a suicide run to pick it up before I die so that they can't get it.

Anyone interested in carrying 3 noobs (me included) through a normal mode raid tonight? The other 2 guys can't start until around 9:00 central. I know that's later than most of you usually play, but I thought I'd ask.

I am hoping some of you gentlemen can help me out.
My buddy borrowed my Destiny disc (XB1), about 6 months ago. Now he's offering to pay me for it. However, I also have purchased 2/3 of the DLC. So anyway, what should I do? Just get my disc back? Buy the vanilla game? I want to be able to keep TDB, HOW, and TK. Are the DLC tied to my gamertag? When I try to play destiny now, it asks for a disc and then prompts me to purchase the digital version. |

In the tower, by the crucible guys.
Garrison, Nighthawk, Claws, Hawkmoon. ETA - everything is pretty good for what it is. Garrison does a thing, how imporant or powerful that thing is, only you can decide; Nighthawk is probably the de facto PVE gunslinger exotic, although if you're a stat whore, this one has a terrible roll on it and you might wanna buy some glass needles to go with it; warlock melee is best melee in PVP, making Claws very strong, but not so much for PVE; and Hawkmoon is the best its been in a while, although to be honest the vendor Palindrome or a well rolled Eyasluna does everything Hawkmoon can really do, and they don't take exotic slots. |

Some of the health regen perks/weapons/abilities are getting tested/fixed/adjusted. Hungering blade, cauterize, life steal, Red Death, transfusion, all are gonna operate the same as now, but the chunk of health you get back is doubled, roughly.
Suros, bubble, Veil, Embrace the Void and No Backup Plans are going back to the pre-patch status sooner or later. Highlights from TWAB: Sidearm ammo is being looked at. Probably gonna get changed to where you can't run around the map, pick up a bunch of special, then basically use your sidearm like a mini Last Word for the rest of the match. Memory of Skorri is being tested in where you've gotta get a kill for the super regen thing to proc, and then it only lasts a minute before it times out and you have to get another kill to start it again. This is a non-issue in PVE, and a good compromise for PVP. Increased reload speed and increased reserves for Truth. Flinch adjustments coming for NLB. There's talk about doing away with the recovery penalty to blink, and lessening the time without the HUD when coming out of blink. Iron Banner Supremacy next week...ugh. |

Thanks guys. Feeling a lot better today, but still light sensitive. Probably won't do much gaming until it's fully healed. Apparently my eye got really dry when I was asleep and stuck to my eyelid. When I woke up and opened my eye, it peeled my cornea back like a banana peel. Hurt like a bitch yesterday. Ended up closing myself up in the bathroom because it was the only room in the house that is totally dark.
Anyway...Playing games has always dried my eyes out some because I blink less often. Until it's back to normal, any dryness could be bad news. |

1 night of IB = all 4 IB weeklies done, weekly Supremacy bounty done, 2 slots away from 400 with extra 400 drops to infuse up other stuff in many slots. Now if I can just get a ghost and some boots.
Oh, and I hope they remove sticky grenades in Destiny 2.

I'm back! Sort-of.
I bought another DISC at Gamestop, it was $10. I checked my characters, they are all hovering around 300-310 light. I do not have Rise of Iron, and I am really balking at the fixed $30 price of entry. I wonder if I can raise my light levels significantly without having Rise of Iron? If so, what are the best ways ? (Besides doing TTK raids) I am going to do some reading online to see what I've missed in the last 8 months. |

Personally I think ROI is worth the $30, as it breathed new life into the game. But that's just my .02. |
