I've been holding off on the guild thing, after the initial startup of the guild/s that first day. Guild function was shut down for a while and I haven't been too active in recruiting for the EP guild. I should assign some officers just for these reasons. As it looks as if EP will be ARFCOMs second choice... |

Yeah I wasn't fighting random things and only doing the run around for quests and Skyshards(all of Bleakrock and Bal Foyen), I cleared Bleakrock and also the lower level quests in Deshaan and Stonefalls. Really, not killing random things isn't a good way to go about things

After the last patch something was funny so I did a repair... after the repair I restarted my PC. When I launched again, it only game me an option to INSTALL the game. I started the install and then canceled it, after canceling it, I got the option to repair again. It's running through its thing again, fingers crossed. Might be a wipe and reinstall kind of night
ETA - back up and running, slow loading with everyone else logging in... The website account access is still offline though. |

I really hope they get these "maintenance" times settled to not be such crappy times for US.
So far it's been pretty early in the day spanning across the afternoon hours. Which sucks for people who work really early (like me) lol. Damn them, I want t play!! *spasm* I got to 30 last night !! *jump around room* /endrant On another note: Need enchants done? Send me materials. I can has? I have nearly all enchants unlocked, just need the proper levels to unlock the rune use. Send meh runes! ETA: Map of Greenshade with chests that I've found that needs unlocking....every 15~30 minutes or so. Most of these are Intermediate or Master, sometimes they come back as Simple but still... I hit these chests....NUMEROUS times last night, nearly gained a level unlocking them. Top right is a level 30~31 area, infested with mobs. Gotta sneak or kill to get to the chests. They're behind/around the tents. Others you see marked in the mountains are well...in the mountains, climb suckers climb! Left hand side near the pirate area...the second chest going left on the map from the bridge is inside the overturned ship wreck thing. Hard to miss. Just keep going that way as far as you can before having to jump down, you'll find the chests....they're glorious!

You don't really have to "unlock" enchants, you just need the right runes and sufficient enchanting level. There are a couple of guides online that tell you all the formulas. You're better off getting in a trade guild and working on a 2nd craft, say blacksmithing and enchanting, and making and selling enchanted swords. You get better xp by actually using the enchants as well as making them (I believe), and your crafting is now earning both xp and gold. The guild store system is kinda cool, but it does limit your customer base...in our case to about 10 people. Translating the runes is just cosmetic...fun to do, and I'm sure there's achievements tied to it, but unnecessary. Unless I'm missing something? I thought the 5 guild thing included NPC guilds...guess not! That's good news. Having multiple social guilds though...what's the point? It doesn't sound like anyone here is interested in really developing either a PVP or a trade guild. Guild membership is by account, not by toon, so if we aren't actually doing anything other than chatting and trading with each other...why have 2? Or 3? Just get everyone into one guild, and delete the other one. |

You don't really have to "unlock" enchants, you just need the right runes and sufficient enchanting level. There are a couple of guides online that tell you all the formulas. You're better off getting in a trade guild and working on a 2nd craft, say blacksmithing and enchanting, and making and selling enchanted swords. You get better xp by actually using the enchants as well as making them (I believe), and your crafting is now earning both xp and gold. Speaking of trade guilds...if we don't build guild numbers any quicker, I'm going to have to drop our Dominion guild to get into one. The guild store system is kinda cool, but it does limit your customer base...in our case to about 10 people. I suggest picking either Dominion or Pact as the PVP guild (so people can have toons on the appropriate server to get bonuses for PVP raids) and making the other a trade guild and opening it up so people can join to trade. We're severely handicapping ourselves otherwise. Everyone can recruit in the Dominion guild, which seems to be the bigger/more popular one. Reason I haven't done any recruiting is because nobody has told me what direction we want to take that guild in. Do we want to PvP and PvE? Make it a trade guild? Make it a mule guild? I need to know before I can come up with a recruiting message, because when you tell people one thing and then do something else, they get kinda pissy.

Oh I know we don't have the numbers in Arfcommers alone. But that's why I wanted opinions on what everyone else wanted to do, so we can open the guild to others and grow it for what we're actually wanting to do. But if we want to just leave it a small social guild for now, that's fine with me. ETA: Server's back up. |
