Friends of mine ran one that was Oregon State University Official so all college students could play on. We had a donation every friday as part of our drink round up with the guy who owned the server (people who didn't go pick up booze and snacks would donate $2 to server fund). I think it was around $10/$15 a month. He also had a project reality BF2 server and a DC Final BF1942 server at his apartment he ran with the excess funds. Not sure what happened to it as I hadn't joined his little LAN parties in a couple of years. Had a blast with it, but I haven't played BF3 in like forever. I rarely play BF4 now since Mantle is so goddamn buggy. |

Using the MAV to kill people with their own explosives is the funnest thing in the game. After a couple rounds of people getting blown up by a drone they start getting sooo mad.

I'm on xbl, but since there doesn't seem to be an xbox BF4 thread, I'm left conversing with you PS bottom-feeders...
I'm glad to hear that you guys are getting dorked by lag also. My connection is good for awhile and then it goes to shit and I'll get headshot/insta-killed constantly. It was actually a bit better before the last update but now since people can rent servers I think I'm fighting their connection and losing. If I think about playing Dawnbreaker my xbox freezes. It also freezes sometimes when the lag gets bad. I don't know if it's really happening or just in my head, but it seems like my connection gets hacked and really tries to hold me at a 1/1 K/D ratio because that's the best I can do when there are issues also it seems to cap me at #6 or 7 in score on my team. I'll play the stat game:  |

Ive noticed that Obliteration just isnt stable on my system. I have expreienced more hard locks on obliteration than anything else.
Back to playing conquest and domination. Sucks because Obliteration was my favorite style. |

Watch dogs is great. I'm trying to get it done before June 30 so I can get my guarenteed $40 trade in at gamestop. Then I'll get back into BF4. When's the next DLC coming out?

I've been getting better trade in prices from Walmart. Watch Dogs is $40.80 right now so if you don't make it on time it should still be pretty close to $40 in a month. Plus you get a Walmart gift card so you aren't limited to buying gaming stuff with it. |
