PC version. Steam doesn't have a telephone number, I've sent emails to both and gotten nothing back. Everyone online says that its over a week normally before anyone gets back to you. I didn't buy the game to play it next week! I just need a key generator or CD Crack to make the game work it seems.

Bumpity for new DLC. Which on the face of it seems really...thin. Didn't they tell us that they were going to be making big DLCs? Hell, I can already do most of this stuff with mods on PC.
hearthfire DLC Trailer Congrats to xbox and PS3 players though, I suppose. This is probably a bigger deal to y'all. |

Probably more so Xbox than PS3, since those guys probably won't get it until mid-2013 or so.
I'm on Xbox and I was expecting something bigger. The house is cool and all, but it's not going to draw me back in for more hours since I've finished all the major quest lines + Dawnguard. |

It'd be nice to have a house with a blacksmiths station in it. If the Hearthfire DLC is cheap I'll get it. |

Seems a bit too much like something they should have put out in a free update rather than paid DLC. Most of the new features, like adopting kids (being dragonborn must make one sterile?), seem more on the scale of mounted combat (which was a free update) than something really new like fighting vampire lords. The new house feature is OK I guess, but this was doable via mods pretty much since day one - I've already got a couple of houses from mods. Of course, that is a PC thing, which is why I said that console folks might appreciate it more.
It almost seems like something that was originally gonna be a free patch, until a manager got ahold of the release notes and said "hey, we could charge for this!!" Even at the $5 pricepoint I can't see myself buying it. No new gameplay or story, no new weapons or armor, no new areas to explore or new enemies to fight, no new characters or abilities. Purely cosmetic, like Oblivion's horse armor. Also, having to run back to save my house from the skeevers sounds about as appealing as having fucking vampires randomly spawn in towns to kill my shopkeepers in the dawnguard DLC, which means not at all. |

All I want is a room with 50+ mannequins to store/display my armor. There are a few mods that have a large number of mannequins but something always seems to mess up on them and you have to reset the armor often. Most of the mods with large armory racks are quite buggy too.

Just learned this morning that I can now fight from horseback on PS3.
No Dawnguard DLC required. |

OK-I'm now embarking on a HUGE "sell it all" spree in anticipation of the new DLC. I've got over 300k, and I'm sure that's enough for everything, but I don't need 99% of what I've hoarded. So, it's ALL GOTTA GO! I'm going to make the best house ever in the whole wide world, and move everything from all my other houses there. Shouldn't be a problem, what with my 4637lb. carry weight!

I got a ring/necklace/gauntlets up to similarly silly levels of stamina, resist frost/fire, magica regen, smithing, create potions and stuff I forget. Basically, when adorned as such, I am *completely* indestructable, everything runs from me etc. Really. The bars of damage/magica/stamina never even appear. I may leap off the highest points and land w/out ANY consequence. I carry everything I own now. Dragons die if I hit them. I can always re-suit up when bored. Hasn't happened yet though! |

Finally wrapped up ME 3 and got back to Skyrim.
Latest download glitched me hard when I go in the water. Whole game freezes and I have to reboot the system. There's a fix to this thankfully but what a shame. Seems all this time and the updates are still shitty for the PS3. Let's not even mention the Dawnguard DLC not happening. Regarding followers. I like Aranea Lenith. She's available when you do the Black Star quest. While a mage, I fit her up with Dragonscale and give her all my staffs. She doesn't take to kindly to wrong doings. Uthgerd the unbroken is such a brutish bulldike, found in the Bannered Mare. I'm trying to sacrifice her for the Boethia quest line but I must not be doing it right. Won't work for me. |

Anyone else bought Hearthfire??? My house lot was in Falkreath. One problem, I killed the person (Hert, vampire in DB quest) who was supposed to sell me lumber and cannot buy lumber at the other mills.
Can't complete my house apparently. ETA: Apparently the mill in Windhelm will deliver wood to Falkreath, half way across Skyrim. Got jumped by two dragons while buying lumber with a third still flying over. 2 dragon corpses parked neatly on the road to Windhelm, never ecen dismounted Shadowmere, both crossbow kills. |

Downloading it now. I'm gonna build the BESTESTEST HOUSE EVAR! The smithing station in the basement is almost worth it by itself. Too bad you can't have shops set up around you. I advise dumping any excess with shop keepers before going home. Also buy several loads of wood at a time completing most of what I want in the house probably blew through 20 loads of wood. Stone and clay sources should be in visual distance of the house, outside of that buy all the iron you can and stock up on corundum whenever you see it. If resources are limited start with the basement add on. |
