After years of amateur boxing and deciding to quit to follow a career I'm looking for something new. I started looking for local gyms that were actually competitive, I'm not wanting a "this is for exercise", but rather a place I'll get knowledge, exercise, and practice. I miss fighting, but will not be returning to a 5 day a week 3 hours a day training. This will be a couple hours a week and really for knowledge and exposure. Considering some of the functions between boxing and muay thai I think I could pair them well together. Who has some insight to offer?

I found a gym that seems to have legit instructors and is associated with the Yamasaki academy (not sure if that means anything).
