What do femurs have to do with now much you squat? I haven't really paid attention, but I think my femurs are average for someone who is 6'1" tall.

However I will say that I haven't seen anyone taller than 6'2" doing squats at my gym. Not saying that they can't.

Long femurs mean that, without adjusting for stance width, your knees travel farther forward as you descend. It's kind of an excuse, and kind of just plain biomechanics. The best squatters tend to have stubby legs. The best deadlifters tend to have ape arms. The best benchers tend to have barrel chests.

I have a pretty solid deadlift and a decent bench for long arms. I've always used long femurs as an excuse for my sorry squats.

I have kind of a long torso so I guess that means squats and deadlifts are my thing? :)

Excellent!  I would like to jump on this bandwagon too.

I always thought my squat sucked, but according to the percentages im pretty close. My deadlift is more than 120% but the rest are pretty inline.

Just weak overall...
