anyone use garmin connect or strava to track stuff?

I primarily use Garmin Connect, but I do sync that to Strava because Strava makes it easy to compare multiple attempts on a single course.

Semper Fi, indeed brother.

My team pledged the 565 miles for the RunRangerRun event, we are 603.23 after the 4.05 I just ran today.

116.78/1000

I had a 10 miler two days ago.

Guess I could join in on this one--did my first 1000 mile year in 2014 and took a bit of a breather last year to ride my bike and swim more to start triathlon.  I'm down on mileage in the past week as I recover from my Cowtown ultra marathon, but I should be getting back into it soon.

Yesterday marked mile 276.63

I think I'm going to change to update weekly instead...but since the last one:

28.37 / 305

Also I made a group on Garmin Connect for anyone that uses it if you want to join...I have my GC set to sync to Strava as well, but don't really get on there so if someone wants to make a group there too I figured we could as well.

https://connect.garmin.com/modern/group/1765976

It's currently set to private so I think you have to request to join it.

Keen I was checking out one of your Garmin activities--you get so much data.  Do you use any sensors besides an HR monitor or is that all the FR620?

It's a combo of the heart rate monitor (specifically the HRM-RUN model) and the FR620 "unlocks it", so to speak (some other newer watches do it, too).

The data doesn't have a ton of usefulness during a run (I can look at some to see early indicators of fatigue), but it's really nifty to be able to look back at runs from when I started running 9 months ago to see how I've improved overall. And it's nice to follow the metrics to work on improving one certain aspect of efficiency, such as cadence.

Was gonna go for a 1/2 on the tread while watching Sicaro, wife called. She is negotiating her comp and duties and wanted to meet for lunch...I did an even 6 so I could go meet her.

I did the math, I am a daily .48m behind. I have to make this a priority..more so.

ETA:

I got a 19" 1080p TV on a shelf with Bluetooth and a Roku stick..Getting all my previously bought BluRay's into my VuDu account..Put the Jambra bud in and disappear
