Where you producing ketones? Unless you're very active protein levels should be between .6 and 1.0 times lean mass. Too much protein can prevent ketones.

Switched my diet up a bit.  Pretty much no carbs throughout the day then after working out I eat a moderate amount of carbs or maybe a little more. Not really focusing on being in keto.

I haven't been losing any weight over the last few weeks. I fluctuate from 208-211 (morning weight).

But my strength has shot through the roof. I am stronger than I have ever been. Think I am slowly burning off the fat and putting on muscle.

Only macro I have been really focusing on is protein, 200+ grams a day. Then after that I just stay around my calorie goal while not going overboard on carbs.

Were you hitting 200+ grams of protein while doing Keto?

Yes.

Yep and I could eat 100 grams of carbs some days and not go out of keto.

I workout a lot.

Spread out about 30 grams for breakfast and lunch. Then drink some Gatorade halfway though  a heavy lifting session then do some HIIT. Have some more in a post workout shake.

It gives you great energy because you are run off of fat and sugar.  I wouldn't recommend it everyday. Just on very high intensity days.

Official weigh-in numbers were 264.2 -> 233.2. The scale picture was after I stepped out of the shower, and mysteriously gained 0.8 lbs.

Photos are comparisons between January 7 and May 27.

Random post-contest check-in.

Weighed in this morning at 221.8. That's another 11.5 lbs since the end of May, and brings me officially to >40 lbs lost.

Working 70 hours per week for the past month and haven't touched a single weight since the end of the competition. Eating the best I can and making it until September is my goal.

I left benching 120lb dumbells and I'm curious what I'll be at in September.

It's unexplainable  mix of crossfit ,heavy lifting and endurance training.

It's pretty much all of the worst crossfit WODs.

One of his friends made it.

Checking in again. 212 as of Saturday. Another pound, and I'll have dropped 20% of my body weight.

When i get back from vacation and finish moving, it's back to the gym again to lift heavy things.

October post-contest check-in:

Weighed in at 200.6 this morning. With any luck, I'll be under 200 by the end of the week.

If I get down to 190 or so, it will literally be the lowest weight I can remember being at since I finished growing. I keep wondering how much more I can really stand to lose, and the flab around my waist suggests another 20 lbs or so, at least. I can't even imagine that.

Chugging along here.  Started at 233 pounds at 5'10" in February of this year.

10K time down to 50.20.  Weight down to 183 for loss of 21.5% of body weight since February 2016.

Waist size down to 31" from 40".  T-shirt size down from 2XL to L.

Need to lose 9 more pounds to get BMI into the "Normal" range for my height.  I hope to be there by mid-december, if not sooner.

I look (and feel) like a completely different person.

Good job.

Forget getting your BMI into normal range. Lift some heavy weights and be awesome.
