I met my wife on fitnesssingles.com if one of us is slacking we can get the other to pick up the pace.

I gathered he was upset because he just started a diet, not because his kid had a smore.

If someone is trying to loose fat the right thing to do is support them.

Front squats 3 sets of 6 with 225
4 sets of 20 lunges with 65lb DB
DB hamstring curls
Leg press
calf raises

Made breakfast with wife then showered with wife. We're trying to conserve water

breakfast was 5 eggs, 2 english muffins. I normally have  oatmeal but we grabbed some wholewheat Englishmuffins after the gym

6', 253.5#'s this afternoon.  Been hitting the gym for the last 5 weeks so this is, embarrassingly, already somewhat improved. Just started reading  reading Starting Strength and will be more carb conscious. I had great results with Atkins in the past but find it hard to do right when living with people (like a wife & kids :-) ).

Did Yoga yesterday. I used muscles I hadn't used since child birth. I don't think that is going to be my thing. I did it with my gorgeous daughter. Let's just say my transitions weren't as flawless as hers.



Hoping we burnt a lot of calories laughing.  



That put me in the gym today: 2  miles on the tread mill at a pretty good clip. ETA.. I have a long road ahead.



Add weight training after I get past feeling like isht from going Keto??? Next week?
One more question.

I haven't seen tomatoes on a do not eat list for Keto. Are they ok?

I do zucchini noodles which have a bit more body than spaghetti squash. The trick to these is pressing the moisture out of them first. Bake them with a bit of sea salt. Since  This is much better than


noodles for sauces.

It's all about net carbs. You take total carbs - dietary fiber. You want to keep it as low as you can until you get into keto.

So tomatoes are good to go if you don't eat too much.

But remember you want to try to stay under 10 net carbs per hour or it may knock you out of keto.

I was going to an old program I used to use.

Starting out high reps low weights.

Upper body M W F

Low T TH ST   Abs every day.  

I have to lose enough weight to handle a step class which I absolutely love to do. I supplement that with cardio and weights. That is a fitness goal.  That is a bit harder on my joints and I can't do it at this weight without horrible pain in my hips lower back and ankles.

I have been  consistently walking  since Oct but hit a wall first part of Dec.  So 2mi felt good today. Especially after the abnormal yoga.  

Fighting asthma right now and that really is my ONLY complaint but I think the more I work my lungs the better that will get too.

I did get test strips. I was shooting for 22 carbs for the day to get into ketosis.
