This was posted today on T-nation, looks like the gov't is being urged to get involved in our gyms.  

News Flash!!!  The government is involved in almost every profession!!!!  Want to earn a living???  Get a license!!!

Someone will chime in on how it's all necessary to protect us from dishonest, unqualified, and incompetent people serving the public.  I say if someone is breaking the law throw them in prison, sue the crap out of them, let the free market weed them out.  People have to take some responsibility for who they do business with, especially in this day and age where it's pretty easy to research anyone through the Internet.

Most people take for granted and accept that you have to ask permission and jump through a million hoops just to earn a living.  It's not right!!
